How would you rate them anons in terms of watchability and order?

For example Star Trek III is meh but it's worth a watch just to fill the gaps between II and IV.

First Contact is the only good TNG film since Nemesis is a thinly veiled Bane origin story.

Galaxy Quest is a better Trek film that JewJews films.

List of films in order of release

>The Motion Picture

>The Wrath of Khan

>The Search for Spock

>The Voyage Home

>The Final Frontier

>The Undiscovered Country

>Generations

>First Contact

>Insurrection

>Galaxy Quest

>Nemesis

>Star Trek

>Into Darkness

>Beyond

>NuTrek at #6

Fuck off.

Honestly I am a fan more of the TNG films than the TOS films mostly because they are more my kind of thing.

As action films, NuTrek is decent, but they are shit Star Trek films.

Same why First Contact is a really strong film on it's own but it's not Trek.

My favorite is The Motion Picture because it feels the most like Star Trek. The rest are basically action flicks, and while the TOS ones are pretty okay, the whole TNG film series could be retconned from reality tomorrow and I wouldn't miss it.

Would that even work?

Sure. Set it in the height of the Dominion War, it would have been released in the summer between Season 6 and Season 7 This is in a parallel universe where Season 7 wasn't shit, so that may change things too. Throw the Enterprise-D in there too if the studio execs want some more iconic characters for the shekels. With the increased budget you could make space battles that actually look like space battles, and not as if Q came along and told all the captains they had to reenact the Napoleonic Wars in deep space.

Take Galaxy Quest off that fucking image. It is not a Trek movie.

Anon, his shitpost on fire

Kek, when my sides fell.

Oh, sure. You could have made one mid-run of the show. It would be a bit harder to make one after the fact, like the other Trek movies, though. The DS9 crew on some unrelated adventure, after the big plot threads of the show are tied up would feel strange.

d9de0f (1) No.16739

My favourites would have to be

>Undiscovered Country

>Wrath of Khan

>The Final Frontier (I actually think that film is awesome)

>First Contact

>The Voyage Home

>Generations

>Search for Spock

>Nemesis

>The Motion Picture

>Star Trek (2009)

>Beyond

>Into Darkness

The Trek films are mostly shit, but if you are into trek you will watch them anyway, and if you aren't you probably never will. I like a lot of them, sometimes I have to be in a certain mood for some of them, they are all such totally different films from one another.

>if you actually got the joke, you might not have overlooked the fact that the date would be read aloud in Majel's sultry computer voice formatted MM-DD-YY or longform.

>YYYY-MM-DD - while admittedly the superior format for /tech/ faggots - makes no sense in this context

don't be such a faggot, anon. Go back and watch TNG. Pay attention and take notes. Start making it to the gym, get plenty of protein and get your blood work done. Don't post again until 2020-01-21

<you might not have overlooked the fact that the date would be read aloud in Majel's sultry computer voice formatted MM-DD-YY or longform.

Why doesn't it make sense for the sultry computer to read out "twenty eighteen zero one twenty?"

>longform

If you meant for Enterprise's computer-tan to read it out longform, why not just write out the longform?

I find it's too easy to make excuses about not going to the gym. Instead I do pushups every time I feel the urge to watch porn, plus a set number every day.
