I try to as much as possible. As much as I admire some actors/actresses, they're still people, and people can be extremely dumb. If I kept all their uninformed or just plain retarded opinions in mind when I watched the shows they were in, I could never finish an episode.

Mostly yes, I think I only follow Shatner because he's the only one who seems to understand the internet culture and what's going on. I don't read everything he tweets but I enjoy seeing him answering questions from fans or tweets from crazy triggered CW fangirls.
