Honestly? I really liked dextromethorphan. Read up on it. High ld50 compared to psychoactive levels, neuroprotective effects, synergistic with a lot of other drugs, legal, easy to acquire (get the orange label robitussin in the US. easy to find during cold/flu season. the shit that contains guafenisin is also doable, but guafenisin makes you sleepy and you'll pee sand.

DXM is very synergistic with diphenhydramine (common benadryl for name brand), they both use the same enzyme in the liver to metabolize, and dph is an anti-emetic which is helpful when you're taking dxm hydrobromide. you'll be nauseus, and you'll want to drink a metric fuckton of water if you chug a bottle of syrup (gelcaps are better, but the coating on them is hellish. you can slit the caps, drain the fluid, or slit and swallow to decrease onset time).

you can do a simple acid/base extraction to create dxm citrate, which is a hellish lemon concentrate instead that you could either dilute into a jug of trippin lemonade (label if you make this and keep it in the fridge, i never had the courage), or take as a motherfucker shot (find something to cover it with. i never did, but i have faith that you're smarter than i am). irregardless, you're putting something very acidic on your teeth, so rinse with a neutralizer like a baking soda solution afterwards if you like your tooth enamel. (since i have no face to lose for an Unpopular belief: stop using flouride, it breaks down repair enzymes in your mouth that help fix enamel to a degree)

if you're not comfortable doing that extraction, don't do it. that said, if you're a overcautious at every step and use actual equipment, it shouldn't go to bad. chemfags can chime in at this point.

i'm not going to cite shit, because you've either got the common sense to use this as a jumping point to start digging around and figuring shit out or you're a dumbass who's going to go take pharmaceutical compounds on the advice of an internet stranger.

good luck friend, and feel free to ask any questions.

Sertraline for not being depressed even when your life situation is really depressing

Methylphenidate for programming for 14 hours straight

Nicotine for making yourself addicted to exercise by sucking on a mint every time you go to the gym. (This one really deserves to be more popular.)

Just sucks that you can't use the last two at the same time as they interact.

 No.5911

>>5910

I've been prescribed methylphenidate recently. I'm also addicted to nicotine, because I have poor impulse control and was an idiot in high school.

Is that interaction while I felt nauseous and vaguely panicked all day today? Or is that because my being an idiot didn't end in high school and I took the methylphenidate while super dehydrated?

 No.5912

>>5911

I don't know the details. Just going by what the psychiatrist who prescribed me these told me: that I shouldn't use the nicotine on days that I take methylphenidate. Maybe it was that they're only bad together when you're already taking sertraline, because sertraline and methylphenidate have an interaction of their own.

The methylphenidate-nicotine interaction doesn't show up in checkers like this one: http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=1606-0,1716-0,2057-0 so there's that. You should probably ask someone who knows more about this. Meanwhile I'm going to continue not using them at the same time because I've had some weird feelings when I've tried.

 No.5913

>>5912 Here -

Also, my apologies if it turns out I was spreading misleading information and they're actually ok to use together in most situations.

Haven't uncovered much, there are some studies finding, like, neurological effects from combining them but nothing that sounds particularly worrying or acute.

To be honest I sometimes find it hard to regret, because it's kind of fascinating to see my brain hijacked by nicotine. The way that withdrawals aren't actually that bad, but there's such a deep "You *need* it" panic around the whole thing. And how that panic can be somewhat satisfied simply buy buying nicotine products, or checking my pocket for them. And how primitive the desire feels, as well. It's like I need to eat, I need to sleep, I need to drink, I need nicotine.

 No.5915

Agreed, I use an e-cig pretty much all the time when I'm awake, and I find nicotine soothing and somewhat of a mental 'pep', like caffeine or cacao. I'm definitely addicted to it in the same way you described.

> forget debit card on desk, meh, I should probably try to keep a balance on my cc anyway, whatever, lunch and gas.

> forget phone/ecig? turn the fucking car around, i cannot go on.

I'll start having a nicfit without realizing it,

>oh my shit where is my stupid looking gameboy with a spout on it

> panic search

> find

> suck deeply

But, I've read that nicotine in and of itself isn't carcinogenic (but that is being disputed, and science is fucking broken as shit anyway), and that it has mild but consistent nootropic effects. This is possibly why usage of it has persisted to this day even though smoking a thing certainly isn't good for your lungs, which I imagine people doing labor-things all day would find disadvantageous.

 No.5916

>>5915

There's also a thing, like, if you're poor and you have only smoked socially, then you know that a cigarette takes away enough of your appetite that you can skip a meal or two, and the mild nootropic effects compensate for any decrease in alertness that causes over the short term.

The thing is that's only economical for like a week, maybe two, before you actually need to fucking eat and hey, you're pretty hooked on nicotine too.

I'd be really interested to see how caloric restriction and nicotine addiction interact.

For frequent use? Caffeine. Maybe not ``every`` day if you want it to have more of an effect, but I can drink a cup of coffee in the morning to be quickly alert, or save it for evening to stay up late. I would say amphetamines, but caffeine is over-the-Starbucks-counter.

For special occasions? MDMA. It just increases my appreciation for everything–textures, colors, sounds, friendships. On higher doses it can even be mildly psychedelic. It has a reputation for being a club drug, but every time I've used it I've preferred to be chill and appreciate life (a rare and valuable state of mind).

Wouldn't take it more than once every few months, since the effects would become more like an ordinary stimulant, and also there are some studies showing neurotoxic effects (though at least one managed to screw up and test methamphetamine instead). Also, take it with friends. Or maybe people you don't know yet but who seem like trustworthy future friends.

 No.5919

Briefly:

GHRP-6 + Mod GRF

Testosterone + nandrolone

Obviously, do your research and run an Aromatase inhibitor + pct

Modafinil

Nicotine patches

Semax

Caffeine

All if these drugs have positive physical and mental benefits when used properly. They are all also less dangerous than alcohol when taken at their effective doses.

 No.5920

Shrooms, acid and weed.

Besides the well documented cognitive effects, LSD is great in low doses (Not as low as a microdose tho) for training the body in advanced techniques.

I never liked MDMA, it actually changes your mood artificially instead of mostly your perception. Feels like cheating but it surely has nice uses for some people.

 No.5921

MDMA without hesitation. Seriously, my first time rolling was the most profound experience of my life. Even the birth of my firstborn doesn't compare.

The crazy thing is, I like to roll, but I never *want* to roll. I've had dozens of opportunities to do MDMA, but I've only done it twice. I don't want to ruin the experience by doing it too often.

I'm a cold, cynical bastard, but if I had to name something sacred in this world, it would be MDMA. If you haven't tried it, please do. To me, someone who hasn't rolled is like someone who hasn't had an orgasm. You are *definitely* missing out.

 No.5922

obviously it's alcohol 'cause that's what we've been able to sustain for thousands of years, plus surprisingly good correlational results for moderate consumption. Caffeine too if that even counts.

Hmm bad choice of words probably. I mean everything bodily that benefits from cognition. Acrobatics, gymnastics, fine motor skills, general coordination, dancing, breathing properly, incorporating optimal joint rotation to everyday motions, keeping a good posture, fixing some of your own mechanical injuries by mechanical means like conscious use of adjacent musculature and so on. Learn how to roll your tongue, if you have the potential for it.

Non-advanced techniques would be your typical repetitive mindless exercises. These are fine and necessary to increase specific parameters.
