I unironically like Mark's posts. Seems to me a good deal of the anti-Mark (and anti-ESR) sentiment comes from a rather distasteful impulse to mock a certain kind of earnestness and straightforwardness that we just don't do around these parts. (Maybe it's a Jewish thing, I dunno.). Get a guy with the same opinions posting with nydwracu's general affect and it's a different story.
