I think even per-thread IDs are bad. even identifying anons per-thread erodes anonymity. there's a posting history/cred, however small, as opposed evaluating the post's content

I don't think identity is such a problematic force, that we need to take such an extreme approach. But I guess, if we can voluntarily generate tripcodes whenever we might want a new identity, maybe I've no grounds to complain.

PSA: Unless you're completely sure that you don't want to continue a conversation after you make your post, type a random tripcode in the name field to give yourself a temporary identity. You see #<some text> and other people see hash(<some text>)

But don't use the same tripcode too many times, or you will become a faggot. I mean, or you will not be able to be completely candid any more because people will be able to start assembling a profile from what you've said.
