I wonder if Alison Des Forges was the target of the Colgan Air Flight 3407 plane crash, not Eckert. Eckert would have made a convenient distraction.
Alison Des Forges made waves two months prior to her death about the US-backed war in the Congo. She was also involved in the Clinton-era Rwanda genocide.
Both events appear to have been a US-backed rape & pillage for both countries' natural resources.
