John was a cattle rancher, freedom fighter, political activist, poet, song writer for the Greatful Dead, essayist, cyberlibertarian, founding member of The Electronic Frontier Foundation and the Freedom of the Press Foundation, Fellow Emeritus at Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet and Society, and someone very special to Q.
You can tell from his smile that he was a special human being and someone you wished you had known. He died early this year, 'in his sleep', but left behind a legacy that Q wants us to pay attention to.
He once said that he wants to be known as 'a good ancestor'. I think he will get his wish.
John is credited with the use of the term 'cyberspace' when referring to the internet.

He was once called ‘the Thomas Jefferson of Cyberspace’ because of his fight to keep the internet free for all.

I have entered the last quarter of my life and have no more time outs, just like most 70 year olds with health issues. However, it is such an honor to see all of you anons come together in our fight to save our liberty and freedom. This IS a matter of life and death, and you must understand that the deep state/cabal will kill us if we get in their way. I pray that we will be successful without violence, but as Thomas Jefferson once said—'the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants'.
