I have the 10,000+ images on a local drive. If we can figure out the right batch command, I could convert the lot to Twitter aspect ratio with ImageMagick adding the black bands as necessary. …
There are hundreds of command line options. Thousands of pages of documentation. What I need is an example of a batch command that does exactly this, so I can test it on a small batch.

I have got some great tips (probably from you) about finding the clip tool and cleaning up screen shots, but nowhere have I found a complete tool kit. I have figured out how to automate the conversion of memes to the size and shape required for optimal Twitter viewing.

I have begun processing files.
