Since we're looking into Cooper (finally!), we might as well look into some deeper historical context provided by Jack Chick's fascinating work based on Alberto Rivera's testimony. He describes with very graphic/disturbing images what it was like to be recruited and rise in the ranks of Jesuits, until he escaped after realizing that the upper ranks were all Masons -- which lower ranks are told to hate. The footnotes buried throughout these comix are all very good. This material used to be freely accessible on the Chick site, but is not "free" anymore, so it was pulled it from archive.org. Note, Chick had to go into bulletproof hiding after he began publishing this material, and Rivera survived several assassination attempts, and died before publishing a book he was writing on this same material. You've probably already encountered Chick through his famous tracts, but may not be aware of this side of his work. The site has plenty of related resources supporting the truth of this Rivera material, as well as plenty of other rants. I don't agree with everything they publish but am glad they publish this particular thread.
