This is to (over)simply reconcile the narrative of the Snow White story with western history, as described in the OP.
Being a 200 year old fairy tale, it appears to have been authored by a rogue elitist that was looking for good resolution to the evil he was aware of - then present in Kabbalah - and writing about it based on the "days" of ancient prophecy encrypted in sacred texts by Moses and the prophets.
Over the course of 3500 years, since Egypt, the lost tribes (who became most early Western nations) have been politically "taken down" twice and twice restored with new providence. This occurred by a Scriptural timetable of "days" slated as 1000, then 2000, then 390 years (called the three days in Scripture). They measure in total from the time of Egypt to the present generation, and individually to certain most pivotal historical events that have occurred in that time.
The first "day" was from the time of the promise land until the tribes emerged from the Assyrian captivity (and largely settled western Europe).
The second of these "days" was each and every time the old faith (Pharisees, Judaism) overcame the separate governments of the tribes and got thrown out only to do it again elsewhere - all the way up to and through their defining time of the Renaissance.
The third day has been from the time of King James until 1997 - the 390 years. At the end of this time is when the Christian world falls again (as Snow White into sleep) and can only be awakened by "the prince" (a new form of incoming leadership) who would return Snow White (the Christian world) to her rightful throne (of world dominance) which the "evil queen" took from her.
This prince is now manifest as the whole force of white hat activism both in and out of government that is doing just this.
This latter "redemption" or "salvation" takes place in the fourth "appointed time," which is the forty years following 1997. It is happening right on time. And the dwarves represent the powers of nature previously used against the free world to do all this, as can never be done again, because Snow White brings them to the castle with her, to be employed for good instead from then on.
This is WAY oversimplified. But the time frames of all this, in Scripture and in history, are elaborately detailed in the study and make it all very convincing to the logical self-thinker.
It also makes it quite apparent the very cresendo of all Christian destiny has indeed arrived in our time.
And reconciling the promises of old that pertain to that with the realities of the present age is most enlightening.
