People are protesting in droves in those Virginia counties the last couple weeks. Gun owners are finally getting enough balls to come out and say "NO!" I don't know how that can be construed as 'bad' or 'cowardly' when the 'goyim' are taking action to have something done about this. The good thing is gun owners DO have a lot of law enforcement on their side now, support is growing and I have a feeling this will not end well for the Dems who are pushing this so hard. There are videos out there of people calling up the VA national guard, they said #1 no real order was ever given and #2 even if it were to be given, they cannot just act on any given order. It goes through a vetting process and there are folks in the national guard that must agree whether or not the order is fully constitutional. Outside a major crisis I doubt they will do anything. However, some counties are now prepared if that is the case. Like I said, this is getting complicated and there is a whole lot of push-back, even many sheriffs are saying they will not comply with any gun grabbing orders.

Let's take a moment to discuss some of the particulars of how an American uprising would go down:

Warfare has always been more about logistics that actual manpower. Insurgents love taking out infrastructure precisely for this reason. Blow up some pipelines: no gas. Take out power lines: no electricity. Take out railroads/highways: transportation of people and materials is greatly hampered. A few relatively simple operations executed by a small number of individuals can greatly hamper the system's ability to maintain stability. This gets to the next point:

Instability is an insurgent's best friend. If the system in unable to maintain a quality of life for the people, the people will doubt the system's supremacy. If the insurgency has access to working generators and fuel in a blackout, that alone will drive the people to see the insurgents as a more reliable source of comfort than the system they fucked up. People aren't so stupid as to not realize the whole mess was cause by the rebels, but they are generally complacent enough not to care. They have families to keep warm and fed. The system will surely provide similar amenities and so the resistance must make it a priority to sabotage the massive camps put in place by the system while keeping their smaller camps as diffuse as possible. This is arguably the hardest part. You will see a war of resources being waged between massive juggernauts and a multitude of mobile encampments. All in the pursuit of controlling the people's access to comfort. This is very much an uphill battle on the part of the insurgency. This next subject is crucial:

We've talked about how easy it is to fuck up the system's ability to acquire resources. But what is just as important to this fight is acquiring them for the insurgency. The most straightforward method is by taking a good chunk of the resources in the act of conducting the sabotage. Blowing up a pipeline? take some gas for yourself! Burning a farm? Take some food beforehand! Taking out a railroad? Derail a train and help yourself to the loot! This is extremely risky, however. It's also nearly unviable at any point other than the early game. These things would be highly defended once the system identifies the threat. Continuing your assault on the infrastructure is still vital up until the endgame and even into the conclusion, but it's a whole hell of a lot safer to drop your ordinance and GTFO than it is to raid the place. The other main sources of resources are going to either be self production (slow and small yield, but relatively safe) or outreach to foreign powers (high yield, potential source of outdated military grade equipment, but now your movement is tainted with foreign influence). These foreign powers may or may not be inclined to shove a wrench in the system. If you can convince them to take such a huge gamble, they will want something in return if you win. Just remember that the system has a lot more friends on the foreign stage than you do. Expect those friends to come and play Right about the time the insurgency acquires any reasonable amount of uncontested territory. On that note, a firefight is inevitable. Quite a few of them, in fact. That brings me, finally, to the last subject of my post.

Maintaining a level of comfort for the people the insurgency has "stolen" from the system, as well as minimizing comfort for those who have stayed loyal, necessarily requires a few instances of hot contact. This is generally to be avoided as the insurgency is both massively outnumbered and outgunned. But if an opportunity arises to take out a small division (or even just a few members of it) with little risk the insurgency, it's best to take it. Ambush and run is the backbone of guerilla warfare. If they know your position, GTFO. Never fight fair, it will only lead to unnecessary casualties. Of course, the system is no stranger to these tactics, they've been fighting both alongside and against insurgencies for nearly a century. They've even incorporated some of their tactics in their most elite squads (Navy SEALs, Green Barret's, etc.). So once again: avoid armed conflict wherever possible. Your weapons are primarily for assassination purposes.

I've skipped over quite a bit but this post is already long enough to the point where most won't read it. But as a TL;DR:

The insurgency should focus on taking out infrastructure and ensuring that the general populace is more comfortable in their hands than those of the system. They should avoid a firefight and focus on taking out weak links and high value targets. Foreign aide is a great bonus to the likelihood of success, but it very well may distort the whole reason the insurgency took arms in the first place.

It's an uphill battle, which is an understatement, but it is possible.

I'll break down all predictions:

1) Don't expect martial law or UN troops, all alarmist hyperbole.

2) Likely some gun control laws will pass, which will anger a lot of gun owners and restrict ability to purchase more ammo/arms.

3) Likely mandatory registration will pass, but highly unlikely most gun owners will obey (same as NY and Connecticut).

4) Few gun owners will hand over any of their guns, the State will just act like it was a "big success" as usual.

5) Red Flag laws *might* lead to a few dead cops and some dead civilians over time, but mass confiscation will not take place (see California).
