The situation is not improved. The reason you're not hearing anything is that there is no real limit anymore from Sweden that can be broken when it comes to degeneracy. I guess more widespread violence would make headlines, but Swedish police underreports the crime and violence happening when concerning colored people / refugees / migrants. But it's slowly decaying as a country still. The outrage about their retardation from 2015/2016 has turned into the norm there and most people do not live in Sweden. The ones who hated how the culture was changing left and I guess some are planning to leave Sweden after their education.

To put it this way as long as you're heavily connected into society there is little reason for you to go and protest against this society even if its on a retarded path. And this rings true for most people. Without economic impulses or crises there is no real reason to revolt, but when a revolt would happen I fear its kind of too late for Sweden. Certainly not as bad as USA though, but definitely at a point where it is very hard to change anything. The only rightwing party in Sweden that wants to limit migration is more or less labor tier of the UK. When a party similar to UK labor is deemed as the 'anti migrant right wing' boogeyman you know it is terrible.

One factor, which cannot be overstated, is the role of women. A large number of women in Sweden are more or less completely corrupted by the media to the point of having lost their minds. They swallow every single new, trendy idea that is thrown their way, and make it their cause to quickly implement this idea at every turn. Be it genderless childcare or any other insane far-left ideal. Female arrogance in Sweden long ago reached absurd levels. Many women in Sweden lack concept of their own limitations, and greatly exaggerate their own judgement, intelligence, wisdom and knowledge of different subject matter, while at the same time behaving without a trace of humility. This is true in many societies, but I believe it's worse here because of completely unrestrained feminism. Leftist men keep this up by continuing to play this game of pretend with women. I believe there is nothing you can do about this while keeping the female vote. Maybe I am pessimistic, but the childishness and lack of integrity of the common woman leads me to think that society's safety mechanisms will inevitably be destroyed in any place or time where women gain political power.
