Blocking the porn makes avoiding it easier, obviously, but the best defense is having something else to do. Doing some placeholder activity is weaker than doing something that matters to you. This is why people always recommend working out. It's naturally and universally satisfying, that is, it matters to everyone who does it.
Also, self loathing is very dangerous. That shit can really fuel a base addiction. When you're depressed and see little worth in things, and especially in yourself, it's hard to find satisfaction in the finer things in life. So you're naturally inclined towards simpler pleasures if you hate / feel bad about yourself. And what's really bad is that porn is designed to make you feel impotent and pitiful so you'll come back for more. It's a vicious cycle.
This sounds like sheep advice, but fulfilling (realistic) expectations is a great way to escape that mindset. Of course, only if you're appreciated for it. Don't do what a cunt tells you. Good grades, traditional good looks (shave and shower, work out), saying "hello" and "thank you" loud and clear, sleeping at normie hours, stuff like that can help your self-esteem surprisingly much. Not making excuses and not lying are big things, too.
