So I can only last 5 days and during those 5 days. I try not to think about porn but everytime I see something that triggers me. I give into it. I go to the gym and I plan to go out and I work full time… but 10 minutes is enough for me to fap. All I need is control. How do you guys do it? Not giving in?

When you see something that gets you, immediately stop looking. Do not think about it. Never entertain any degenerate thought. As soon as you realize you're thinking it you should cut it off. And don't touch your dick

You have to think of yourself as a pleasure/sex/fap addict. Think of it as no different than any drug addict addicted to coke/meth etc. Becomes easier from there. Early stages of nofap you have to think as withdrawal and the brain will scream, shout, play tricks, give wet dreams, etc - you just never give in. Use your willpower. Force yourself to focus on other activities (even when the triggers/urges are bothering you). Let a few minutes go by and you will notice the intensity of the urge gets less and less intense. Also regular prayer (if you believe in god) or meditation helps drastically.

Not OP, but this just happened to me about half an hour ago. I was drawing in my sketchbook and got a strong urge to draw some porn, but I shifted my focus on the podcast I was listening to and eventually the urge went away.

A wise man in rehab once told me that this approach helps him personally (he liked to drink, but addiction is addiction)

"I always promise myself - if I wake up tomorrow and I feel bad about not having drunk today, then I will start drinking again."

That never happens of course, nobody feels bad about not giving in, but the promise itself seems to help with the urges, at least for a day. And a day is all we need.
