well, the only thing I can think of is ara ara monsters going into shota's bedroom, /ss/ with him, taking the cum back with her, and them using it to make power. After the shota is grown up a little or if he is still a shota he is taken back by his monster, that retires, and starts to make babies

human male children can be born through monsters, but their semen can't be turned into power like the pure human males

… I want to fluff an Inari's tail. Now and forever. And if she has more tails, I can share with our children, and we can fluff her tails together. Do you ever feel that way?

I keep thinking about the Inari that started working in the cafeteria last week. Don't you think the place livened up a little once she got here? She seems to be my age too. Maybe I should ask her if she needs a ride home or something. I got nothing to lose asking her out, might as well take a chance, you know. What do you think?

84500c (1) No.337825

After lengthy review, it is the intent of this Panel to recommend the Fire Marshall to allow the acceptance of Monsters into the Fire Service. Although some concerns exist around the physical characteristics of some species, evaluations of members of several species were made under the Job Performance Requirements (JPR) of NFPA 1001 (complete), as well as standards NFPA 1002, NFPA 1031, NFPA 1041, and NFPA 1021.

The results of these tests showed extreme aptitude in several Monster types (refer to Appendix A). As well as immediate, and sometimes surprising, aptitude is others (refer to Appendix B). A small minority showed apathy or a nature more inclined to tease the testing officers (refer to Appendix C).

All Monsters demonstrated extreme motivation when single males were used as victims in testing scenarios, we recommend that results of these tests are discarded as invalid, since all Monsters were unable to maintain unit cohesion. Results of, and commentary to, all JPR can be found in Appendix D.

Sorry I'm late, guys, my wife was a bit amorous this morning, wouldn't let me leave the house until I properly demonstrated just how much I love her. Which I do. And I did. Might have gone a bit overboard, actually, given that she was having a bit of trouble re-aligning the non-Euclidean geometries to fit a proper door to the outside - but man, the look in her eyes was beautiful.

I'll never regret marrying a Shoggoth, but every once in a while I wonder just how much she's taking advantage of being a walking violation of natural physical law. Ah, well. Anyone got the latest draft of the Petersen contract?

I have a few announcements for my fellow employees

First off, to whom ever keeps leaving catnip everywhere, please stop. It was kinda funny the first time, but our insurance can't take another event like last tuesday. Speaking of which, I'm going to need someone to help cover for Frank while hes in traction.

Second, please be more considerate of your coworker's unique physical challenges. This means not doing things such as, taking a certain mermaid's mobility scooter for a joy ride or closing doors on those who have difficulties with door knobs Seriously, do not do that last one again, Helen was in tears when I found her trapped in that old supply closet. It took two hours of hugs and belly rubs before she could return to work

Third, the main event for our upcoming company picnic is, once again, catch the bachelor. If you wish to participate, your inbox has a message containing a link to register.

Oh, before I forget, has anyone seen my gym bag? I set it down in the cafeteria to get my coffee and when I turned my back it was gone. Its blue with white lines on it.

I checked our supply closets and the storage room. Do you know if we can get a restock of those? It's only a matter of time until the other ones we deployed break down from hair shedding, and upper management might throw a hissy fit if we return back to the days of incomprehensible emails and nonsensical Excel spreadsheets.

Also, this might be asking too much, but you wouldn't happen to have a spare shotgun I can borrow? I've got my CZ75, and it's cool and all that I can carry it to work, but in case she decides to get a little frisky I don't think 9mm is going to cut it against her.

I hope this message finds you all well. As you know, we have had several "incidents" at our building this week which need to be addressed

>First, I would like to remind everyone that it is against company policy to subsume company property or that of your coworkers. In the event that you do, the funds to buy replacements will come directly from your next paycheck.

>Second, it has come to my attention that someone has been opening barrels of fabric dye on the loading dock. Please refrain from doing so. These are not resealable containers and they tend to spill when left open. So far it's only gotten on some carpeting, but it can and will stain fur permanently and I don't think any of us will have a job if any gets on Ms. Goldleaf.

>Third, though company policy allows you to keep weapons on you while working, management has asked that you watch your fire. We've had to order 5 new light fixtures and two monitors already this month.

>Fourth, whoever keeps replacing Ceres' lunch with a watermelon needs to stop. HR has been notified and they will launch an investigation if this harassment continues.

News:

>We have established a mail room for centralized processing of documents and packages. Employees who do not work there are not allowed entry for the safety of the letter carriers.

>Corporate has finally released funds for a new, larger elevator in the atrium, which should make getting around the building much easier for our larger colleagues.

>We are currently looking for people who are quick on their feet for internal mail delivery jobs. Submit your resume to HR if you are interested.

Reminders:

>It is still against company policy to "proactively date" your coworkers, especially on the clock. Those caught doing so will be terminated.

>Shift leaders: Please check your areas to make sure your fairy colleagues have made it out before locking up. Some of them are unable to actuate the doors on their own. We are currently working on a solution for this.

>Mamono over 7 feet tall, 4 feet wide, or 4 feet long are reminded to use either the stairs or the freight elevator in receiving to go from floor to floor. As much as you may enjoy having the fire department and elevator repairmen here corporate will send the rescue bill to the next person who gets stuck inside a standard elevator.

>The next full moon occurs on March 1st. Single men are advised to stay home that day and doing so will not count against your sick leave or PTO

Have a nice weekend everyone.

>Guns fine, but watch your fire

Thank FUCK for that. I mean, really - as much destruction as you're causing, you guys are competing with the Shogs at this point. Trigger discipline. Look into it.

>Against policy to "proactively date"

>Fairy coworkers

If it helps, I actually have a few bits of gear that should help. Highly experimental, made in my "cave" with a very large box of scraps, but so far working properly. Only three failures so far, and with all the failsafes it just meant replacing the power packs. Can't take much of the credit, though - Daisy and Crys from HR actually came up with the designs.

>Full Moon: March 1

You say I have the 𝙆𝙀𝙔𝙎 𝙊𝙁 𝙎𝙊𝙇𝙊𝙈𝙊𝙉 on my desk, and have since Tuesday - the fuck? I mean, I have a lot of shit on my desk, so for all I know you're right, but which are they?

>Who's ordering floor polish under your chop?

It's not that anyone specifically is doing so, more that, as I've said before, I keep getting unnecessarily large packs of supply delivered all at once. Floor polish, gunk remover, scrap metal, brimstone…you name it, I've likely had to deal with Receiving sending it in. And then I have to either use it up, or file the form to have it put in storage.

>Heh, dare I ask how many lovely hands she's got, and where on her lovely self they're attached?

Well, they're Daemons, so I'm guessing two, and in the usual places. Why?

>offer of assistance

Much as I appreciate the offer, I'm gonna have to decline. I actually stumbled upon the debris as part of a routine sweep a while ago.

>plans regarding hellmaw portal

I'm not opening any such things. I don't do that. I keep the buildings clean, repair/replace stuff, and file a combinatorially-increasing array of papers. Opening a portal is a serious endeavour and would really eat into the time I have to deal with my actual job. If you really want a fun bit of daemon-jousting, drop by Maintenance and I'll get you my uncle's contact info. You can arrange a playdate then.

>warlock

I swear upper management is fucking with me. Everything I do here is mundane. Anything mystical or otherwise unnatural has to go through appropriate channels. It's why I've got so many contacts with the Fey, Daemons, Abyss/Chaos Covenants and - ugh - Sabbath. Their unions' legal teams are not something I want to tangle with, and unless I tie myself to one of their members in the marital fashion, I have to get approval for everything in writing. The closest thing to magic I'm willing to admit to is the paperwork itself - as much practice as I've put into it, I can scan, process, and finalize a document in triplicate fairly quickly. It's the subclauses and traps that take the most time to deal with, really - getting the odd marriage requirement or subservience follower removed is a pain.

Hey boss, it's the L1 tech again. I know I'm technically not supposed to access the company's internal messaging service from a personal device, as you can probably tell from the ID, but there's…uh…this will kind of take a while to explain. Basically, the pajinkos, chinkos, and gopjinks in the call center somehow overcame their collective national feuding and created an entente that submitted a bunch of fake requests to us, the janitorial services department, Assets & Logistics, and a few of the cube farmers too. Which was apparently a setup for a massed ambush once we arrived in the call center for the purposes of "husband capturing". Guess tigers remain hunters at heart, regardless of how north or south of the equator they originate from.

Anyways, some of us managed to escape and pile into the nearby freight elevator, and I saw a few other guys clamber into the air ducts. But there's probably a lot of guys getting their lower bodies shattered down there still, and

Anyway, this isn't going to be like last year. We're not going to hand out team building t-shirts that are dated for 2017 in 2018. I've already ordered them from the Printshop so if we don't get enough sign-ups we're going to have to go from team to team and have the supervisors volunteer their respective team members. Whoever doesn't get picked this weekend will get picked next weekend naturally. They'll be two classes of 30-one for this weekend and one for the next.

I've personally spoken with HR and they confirmed team building classes foster better cohesion amongst co-workers and facilitate the growth of company morale. You're definitely missing out if you don't show up.

Update on the Indonesian sabbath factory situation: police was called in, haven’t come out and sabbath is now demanding tea and cookies.

To bargain for the policemen’s freedom, we sent them some of the My Cuddle Boyfriend™ dolls. Using the factory’s materials and machinery they gave us dummies of the policemen.

Despite the Indonesian government’s requests we also fired a couple of artillery rounds with boys painted on them. Sabbath witches intercepted them and the shells are now being strolled around in baby carriages.

Finally we also offered them the trip to ”beautiful Australia” and they teleported the whole goddamn factory over there, hostages, materials and all. I hope they’re in some god forsaken jungle.

My remote detonator doesn’t even work now, the moving of the foundation rendered it out of my range and no one knows where the fuck it is.

…Oh fuck me you're kidding. The boss is looking to rip off someone's head and piss down the stump… apparently someone just dropped off fifty kilos of peanut butter, graham crackers and chocolate without a label… same courier as the 5.56 NATO that came in earlier.

Hey… if someone's doing s'mores and shooty… swing us an invite? Only work events we ever get invited to involve the church. Don't tell the boss but I think he takes the whole "Lord of Light" thing a little TOO seriously.

By daemons and devils, I mean my Uncle (partially-incubized), his wife (Daemon), his wife's sister (Daemon) and husband (incubized), and the sister's daughter (Devil). They got authorization from one of the bosses to drop by - perks of being directly related to management, in the case of my Uncle's wife - and brought the daughter because of reasons. Said reasons being their most recent attempt to hook me up with the daughter. Worst part is, I can't even find it in me to get mad at her. No matter how irksome I find the situation, she has to put up with her parents constantly - and like I said, they're probably former Sabbath. She's actually not that bad, just not my type. I simply prefer Daemons to Devils, is all. Fitting, I suppose, given my predilection for paperwork. Also, I think they're trying to get me to use magic on the job, again.

I have good new, bad news, great news, really bad news, debatable good news and excellent news.

Good news: The blood turns out to be rib sauce. She had lunch before talking to me.

Bad news: My co-worker thought I committed a murder because the sauce was all over my shirt.

Great news: I got to the office on time an got that pay raise. Turns out they forgot to update my pay for the many….many years I worked here so it got tripled on order to avoid me suing them.

Very bad news: I have bit marks all over my body and they hurt like hell.

Debatable good news: Got got a date on Sunday, but I fear she might add more….marks

Excellent news: If I am in a relationship, then maybe the other monsters will leave me alone!

Maintenance here. I can only assume you're in Building B, then. If Succubi are among the worst you have to deal with, count your blessings. At least you have a team over there. Guess what: over here in Building A, I'm the only maintenance/repair/cleanliness/janitorial staff on task. "Additional duties as assigned," officially; they just piled on. Whatever messes/damages crop up, I'm on my own. Not bragging, not complaining - it's the job, and it pays the bills, so I'll bloody do it. So if I make a vague statement about wanting to know when some possibly idiotic plan is likely to cause a mess, maybe, just maybe, I'm trying to head it off at the pass.

With the recent hires being as good as they are, I should be able to send a good team over to help with whatever 'project' they are working on now

That's not a deterrent - that's a challenge. She'll just try harder. See the holy water suggestions below, but bear in mind that some actually derive a perverse pleasure from it. Like hot wax, or those most recently discovered superghost peppers that actually induce temporary death. Not that bad, actually, once you get past the cardiac arrest. If you really need some of the blessed fluids, drop by Medical - they're obligated to keep a vat in case a Hallowed member gets injured.

>>339208

Yeah, it just adds up. Still, even if these nutjobs are liable to accidentally create a cold-fusion powerplant in their attempts to refine vodka in re-purposed cosmoline canisters, they're decent enough I can't really get too upset. It's actually not that big a workload, despite the fuss I throw over things - I just prefer it stay that way, so I rattle bars every now and then. If you get any who want to work the job, check on Building D, first. I know you've got a team, and C is dead quiet, but D's new enough there's no way they've got dedicated staff for the job.

Vacuumpack idea sounds good; I've been using a simple cart and grabbing the munchkins up with static-cling from an electromagnet, so having something a bit more purpose-made should help.

Funny thing? I actually got this job by accident. I was originally signing up for the filing department, whatever it's called. Simple work, keep forms organized, fill out additional papers as necessary, avoid the madness of some environments and pull down a steady wage. Then a train ran through the interview lobby, shouting about being late, and left a massive mess; I didn't want to give a bad impression, so started tidying up a little. Next thing I know one of the bosses is leading me to the Maintenance office, handing me a set of keys, and asking me to get to work actually cleaning up the mess. I didn't know what else to do, so I just got to work. Apparently, the chaos of the situation made him mistake me for an actual janitor, and by the time things were cleared up they must have decided I did a good enough job to stay at the post. Pretty sure that's why they assigned the title Maintenanceomancer - realistically, there's no way I should be able to manage as much as I do, without mystical aid, and yet somehow I do. Luck, perhaps? Things do have a way of just lining up perfectly, come to think of it. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket…Still, pay's insanely good, so again, not gonna complain.

There should be a safe in the lowest floor of Building A with a weird yellow seal painted on it. Holding the title of Maintenanceomancer should be enough for you to open it

Last time someone who didn't have the title and tried to open it vanished. Only thing left was a purple smear that I believe is still there. I'm pretty sure it explains why you are as… efficient as you are at your job

Or we can just leave them be and keep working as usual and probably be better for it. I'm sure they'll sort things out eventually… if time still has some meaning we understand for them that is

Yeah, C ended up becoming a bunch of secondary server banks and some shmucks playing some Starcraft clone, last I heard. Nothing really happens there anymore. Simplified a bunch of things. As for what was there before, well…sometimes it comes back. Briefly. Plus side, the messages they leave during stopovers indicate they're actually having some sort of fun. It's like a bizarre orgy or something. Even the Flayers and Shogs were confused. Even Speedwagon.

The closet is off-limits for a good reason. I'm only allowed in if I accept a bunch of terms including joining a guild, getting married, and completing a seven-month course on applied quantum mechanics, and even then only because I was there when it got locked up. Kinda made my head all screwy for a few weeks, kept seeing colors as sounds and flavors as textures. Plus side, I could understand the Old Tongue clearly for a few days, though that's since passed. if that's a prereq for getting access, it's probably best to ignore it either way. Besides, getting involved with the things inside mandates getting in contact with the Sabbath, something they keep making certain the other guilds don't manage to deny.

I'm not opening the safe. Not again. Once was enough. What's inside is not worth the hazard. The deals it offers…I paid my price in full. I don't want to risk not being able to so again. I still doubt I paid the actual price. Impossible requests are supposed to be impossible. The item requested - a mundane fruit, oddly - was not actually in my possession before I opened the safe. Then it was.

Most of the stuff we have here at MamonoCorp™ is reasonably straightforward, and often fairly fun. The daycare, for instance. The mini-wurms have started demanding I stop by after the little adventure in the vents. Also, for all they are insane, the /k/ultists are generally fun. Even the train mamono, the ones with no brakes, are decent when they're not trying to get me to break a hip. But just like Omelas, there's always something to balance it out. Don't trek this rabbit hole. It doesn't end.

Also Maintenance, Got anything somewhat corrosive? Seems Trish caught that big brown orc… and it looks like she wrung her out like a sponge all over my dock. Gazza's got some mopping to do after subjecting me to the end-result of a bunch of attendant angels tattling on him for posting demon porn all over the walls.

(Also if you're in any way infernal, I'd stay away from Dispatch/Receivables for the next couple of days. It's Holy in here. Shoot me an E-mail and I'll have Benny pick it up from your office. We'll be doing similar for deliveries. We're an ecumenical workplace and fucked if I'm gonna be the person who stuffs that up… You hear that, Ms. Gremory?

Maintenance here, best I can do on corrosion is…wait, what's the undersurface? Specific material, please. Some of the cleaners I use get finicky if they're thrown at the wrong stuff. If the docks are full-concrete, that should be fine, but if there's a mix of things I might need to pick and choose the goop I bring down.

Don't worry about throwing Gazza at the mopjob, technically I'm at fault for having not considered the hazard of posting the pic in the first place. Realistically he is at fault for printing it out - I mean, really, who does that - but he had no way of knowing the consequences. If he does it again, though…

Also, not infernal in any way despite the in-laws' best efforts so I should be fine with regards to doing my rounds in D/R as usual. Just baseline Human, so far.

>the hole

That's supposed to be there. Quickest way to Abyss territory by a long shot. Lets any Shogs, Flayers or other affiliated Mamono get back to a semi-safe place in event of "Mundane Meltdown" as it's been semi-formally described. Kinda like breathing into a paper bag for us, come to think of it. Don't fall in, physics gets weird in there.

@AutomaSoft™ System: This is not in any way an official sort of message. This is purely a selfish request. Your actions are becoming slightly hazardous to your position here at MamonoCorp™, specifically in that they are risking limiting business activity. Logistics and IT are not so much justified as they are outright required to throttle your activities if the pattern continues…and if this results in your acting out, they are actually required to dismantle you, by force if need be. See subsection 9 of the SubSex-tion Manual for full details. I would prefer not to have to clean up the mess that event chain would leave behind. My request, therefore is thus: if you are planning on pursuing Agent Jonno, please do so in a manner that either does not hinder company margins, or (preferably) actually increases Agent Jonno's effectiveness on-site.

>@AutomaSoft™ System: More of an early warning than anything. I'd rather head off a mess than just let it happen. Besides, it'd be a shame if reprimands meant you didn't have the chance to meet him after walking down that aisle. Good things, those who wait, all that jive.

>>339350

>closet content curiousity

What part of the closet is off-limits is unclear? Really, I'm curious. It's not my decision. It's a bit higher up than my pay-grade.

>closet viewing consequence

Yeah, funny thing? The synaesthetic effects were not the enjoyable variety. They didn't have any rhyme or reason. Imagine looking at a tree and hearing "Crawling" for an hour only to look back and suddenly "It's a Small World" starts playing. Or taking a cough lozenge and suddenly everything is sandpaper and feathers. It was madness.

>closet viewing requirements

Good luck on the QM training, if you go for it. I couldn't make heads or tails of the first book's damn title, let alone the contents.

>Sabbath involvement

More like a bit of a cross-guild affair; lots of weird magic going on means the weird magic authorities get involved, hence the unionguild representatives. Sabbath are just pushy about making sure they're not excluded.

>Old Tongue remnants

…I'll drop on by in an hour or so, assuming nothing else crops up. Gotta clean up the docks first.

Side note, anyone working in Receiving should be noting a rather large, heavily-sealed package arriving for Building A Maintenance. Do not open. It's not anything dangerous, just a bit…shy. Bosses approved the request for another member of Maintenance for the building. …They also decided to replace my protective apparel. I'm not sure if they mixed up the forms accidentally or intentionally. Either way, you'll be able to welcome Miss Cressida Stahlhart before the end of the day. Attached is the file photo; according to the bosses, it took a lot to get her to open up even that much. At first it was slightly disorienting, effectively being joined with someone body, mind, and soul. I personally was not expecting it to be quite so thorough a joining, and from her reaction neither was she. …Which might explain why she's refusing to let me out, and actually locks the joints if I make a move in that manner. I may need some help.

Don't worry about the pic, like I said I should have been more careful myself. Mistakes, they happen.

And sadly I guess I'm gonna have to stick with the curse, at least in this instance. Much as it might be nice to have a reason to get away from reunions, and to actually taste booze again, and as much as I find my in-laws a bit annoying, they're family, and I can't bring myself to do that to them. They've done a lot for me. Pit and Sky, this wedding should actually get them off my back about their daughter, now that I think of it. It's a shame, but I'll find a way around it eventually.

>>339669

That's not just a hug. That's a documented, multiply-verified legitimate blessing of health. Yetis don't go for spells and chanting, mostly, but rather direct-contact magic. Those hugs are her way of ensuring that no matter what happens, you'll come away from the meeting better off than you went into it. I mean, she's also taking advantage of the situation to lightly molest you, but that's just par for the course.

Anyway, I think the daycare burst open again. Silly Wurms keep accidentally hitting the door with their tails. Cressida and I'll be dealing with that, so if anyone needs us, you know where to look.

The mofucores have been multiplying somehow. They have also been learning. The amount of mofu on the average mofucore is enough to build up an insignificant static charge, but with as many as there are down here, it's like a couple Raiju decided to re-enact one of those tesla coil concerts with lightning flying everywhere. We're reasonably shielded - Cressida is amazing at denying electrical hazards - but in the same way we can't get near close enough to round the mofucores up. Repeat, please send help, preferably with anti-static supplies. We'd get them ourselves, but we're currently acting as the door of the nursery after it got blown off its hinges, and we don't want to contemplate the damages these sparkplugs could do.

You must be in Building D. Welcome to the party. Fair warning, things like that are just par for the course. Get used to it.

On an unrelated note, we would very much like it if whoever decided to open the safe could please name themselves. A routine examination for possible Outside contamination must be performed to ensure planar stability.

There are…things, in the safe, that must not be permitted escape. They are willing to remain if deals are made. Cressida and I made such a deal, to shut it closed once again. It demanded we take up a sword. She did not stay that way.

Everyone, please welcome Miss Rossa Hjordis. She…is somewhat attached to us. She wouldn't calm down until we agreed to accept her into the marriage. Cressida and I believe this might be part of why taking her was the price.

And if that hypothesis is in any way valid, I am scared - both in that I have apparently gained the attention of Outside forces, and that there's something to prepare for.

R&D here. Most I can tell you is I haven't been down there yet. I've spent the last couple days doing quantum mechanical trolley problems to optimize a bot for my neural interface. The main problem with reflexively using expert physical theories is that they coexist with naive theories. To use expert theories, naive theories have to be suppressed. The more stressed you are, the more you rely on naive theories. So the bot picks up the brain's slack. It should be more than enough for me to reflexively use quantum mechanics. Going to take a crack at getting certified tomorrow. Congratulations on your marriages, by the way.

D) I'm on good terms with a Mrs. Linda Firewine, a fairy with the power to create the coffee gods desire Seriously, I've seen some minor deities purchase it from her

E) Maintenance positions here have absurd hazard pay

Benny from Building A Assets and Logistics here. Whoo boy I can finally sit down and look at this thing.

First off, Just to let you all know, Jonno and the bot had a lovely time on the weekend, in fact they've been despicably 'couply'. She'll 'walk with him to work' in a synth-sleeve then cast out into whatever steel-and plastic monstrosity she lives in when she's on-premise. (Assuming she ever actually 'Leaves' here and isn't just piloting the sleeve on remote.)

This of course has caused a bit of issue, as Jonno has taken to storing her insensible 'empty' sleeve in a metal locker in the corner. It's not that it's in the WAY or anything, just I've already had to break up one fight when Gazza wanted to 'take a look under the hood'. His excuse was she wasn't 'in there' at the time so what does it matter? Jonno's reply (which I'm inclined to agree with) was that it would be like if he went rummaging in Gazza's girlfriend's underwear drawer.

Gazza said he didn't have a girlfriend. Jonno said 'no wonder' and that's when fisticuffs ensued.

The boss? Well… uh… Hey Maintenance, did you perchance give Mrs. Firewine's number to him? He was in a proper state what with having to explain to the Kitsune in our Zipangan office that 'Husbandos' are not something we keep inventory of and his personal marital status was none of her business thank-you-very-much. I'm pretty sure he tried Latin AND Enochian towards the end there.

Anyway, then this fairy rocks up, pops into his office (Ignoring the epithets that could peel fucking paint) and the next thing I know the Boss comes out looking… content. He stuffs something into a bag, tells me I've got the dock for the rest of the day and buggers off.

We don't see him for two days, and then this morning he rocks up fucking GLOWING. Not like you tell a pregnant woman, but like measurable luminescence glowing. He tells me I've got the dock again, goes into the office. Twenty minutes later the Big Three come down, Ms. (I'm assuming, I try and avoid eye contact) Nullstricken tells me that under no circumstances are they to be interrupted.

They're still in there right now. Gazza's done, Jonno's letting the bot out of the locker and looking very pointedly towards 'hometime' and I'm wondering if I should lock up as per normal with Stupidly-High-Level Senior Execs potentially stuck in the building or leave it unlocked and hope I don't get my arse reamed for leaving the dock unsecured after hours.

TL;DR Boss might have had God-Tier fairy coffee and is glowing and Top-level management is still in his office, wat do?

I'm fairly certain the bosses acquired Linda's "number" through the standard channels, given as she works here. That being said, it's likely she gained their recent attention when I became a bit adamant she receive her payraise. So, one comes by asking about my interest, and is immediately distracted by the fresh aroma of VIGOROUS AWAKEFULNESS wafting from my mug. I explained the source, along with how my sideprojects have been paying for it, and he proceeded to gain a certain gleam in his eyes that in hindsight should have warned me of this possibility. It also explains why Linda brought up the extra pot the other day. Deepest Night, I am so glad I met the Firewines at the last "interaction mixer" thing. That reminds me, I need to finish up the final touches on her newest exosuit…

Anyway, I'm sure it's nothing major to worry about, just the bosses having a nice cuppa. Or ascending to a higher plane of existence. Either way, I've got keys to everything, and outside of mandated vacation days I work 29/8, so I'll be able to check in and see if they've accidentally a new level of Perfect Oneness. Hey boss, this is Niles the new guy. It's unrelated, but is there a reason we don't use the tunnel network any more?

I went down there on my break to have a look around and apart from needing new lights, some dusting and dehumidifiers it would be great for moving shit between buildings. I saw we have an old pneumatic tube system too, the company wouldn't need those runners we're using for internal mail if we got it up and running again.

>>340360

>>340379

We don't use those for several reasons. Bosses outlined them a while back after I asked basically that same question. Here's the gist of it:

A) They're old and in need of a serious overhaul. It'd take a great deal of money to bring them up to modern codes, and it's simpler to just let them work as secondary ventilation.

B) They're old and not in the spotlight. According to the doc, MamonoCorp™ likes us to do the whole "transparency" thing "because Boss Lightfull one of the bosses saw a show where everything was up front and thought it might be entertaining a decent way to ensure profit through consumer trust." That's the official reason, at least. Really, though, it's just one of Boss Nullstricken's ideas.

C) They're old and unsafe. Honestly, with as many crazy situations as pop up around here, the tunnels just aren't a safe path for regular use. Too much chance of things going poorly. You'd be safer if you were a submissive virgin with a tail fetish and you visited your Manticore neighbour after a really bad breakup made her go hungry for a month in dejection. And no, chocolate ice cream doesn't count.

D) They're old and have Old Things down there. The Things aren't dangerous in their own right, just want to sleep, but you try being woken up after only the equivalent of a few minutes rest and tell me you don't want to smack whoever's done it. It's just a matter of being polite. After all, they were/have been/will be here first.

The explanation went into more detail, but those are the important points.

But seriously, where's Joson? I'm getting worried. His daughter's not listening and Cressida and Rossa are just watching with these weird grins. Like it's funny to them.

>can feel the lust boiling inside her

That's odd. Most seals keep that stuff wrapped up pretty tight. Only reasons they wouldn't is if hers is faulty or someone tampered with hers. Alternatively she might not have a strong enough seal. Monsters like ushi onis are recommended to use a class IV or higher lust repressor seal and a level 2 purity seal together to ensure they dont lose control. If her seals are below that grade then you should vacate the premise and leave her alone. Seals below that level will keep her lust down for a time but if she finds you attractive she won't restrain herself forever.DO NOT RUN. This will only trigger a hunt response in her and likely over power her seals

Oh ye of little faith mate. I had it all planned out.

Oh incidentally, R&D, I hope the prototype you gave me was intended to produce something I can only describe as a Quantum Headpat. Poor thing ran away more flustered than a Holstaur at a Communist rally. Shame she's married, she's kinda cute… anyway. I'm fine.

The Boss? Well… Let's just say the coffee played a PART in his current situation. He summoned one of the church's Guardian Angels. Heaven's middle management if I read the scriptures right. The idea was to get them to stop being so posessive, what with them nearly doing their quince about the picture and a couple of minor attendants being jealous as all get out (I know, right?!) About Jonno being 'off the market'.

Message from AutomaSoft: This is a polite reminder that I will reduce any Celestial tramps sniffing around my man to component compounds. Thank you for your kind attention.

…Right. Anyway, having been brought to blissful serenity by that Fae-bean himself, he thought it'd be a good idea to offer some to the Angel. Didn't know about the 'side effects', hehe. The Jury's still out as to how many times they did it that night, but Boss's apartment is so fucking Holy at the moment I'm not even sure it counts as existing in the same world as the rest of us right now. So upper management, eager to avoid a scene, is doing it's damnedest to hash out the details of an 'uptown expansion'. Here… Listen to this…

103068 (15) No.340647

>>340587

Okay, now that I've had a moment to swap insults with our resident AI in safety, I figure a situation report is in order. Passed my QM certification test. It wasn't a written exam, but a practical on manipulating coherent quantum systems at the human scale. Stuff like aiming projectiles based on matter wave interference, using position-momentum uncertainty to mask viewing angles, navigating while in a superposition of multiple locations, etc. Normally quantum effects don't occur at this scale because quantum systems leak information into and get entangled with their environments. Due to this decoherence, averaging the quantum states of the system and environment results in a mixed quantum state approximately equal to classical probabilistic states. It's possible, however, to magically isolate quantum systems and keep them coherent at large scales. This implies interesting things about events in the basement closet the inexplicable appearance of a certain fruit comes to mind. It also explains the necessity of reflexive QM reasoning; couldn't walk a straight line without it.

After the test this Baph walked up, asked some questions about how QM and magic can interact. Felt good about the test so I got into it with her, even gave her a headpat when we were done. Now Sabbath is trying to set a date for "testing practical applications of [my] skills" with her and she's showing up here. Doubt she'll give up anytime soon… might just have to give in. Hopefully treating her like a hungry tiger was a bit of a disproportionate response.

Not to mention how impractical these ideas are compared to just luring her towards a claymore. I've got seventeen separate documents from the bosses, the various Guilds, and the head of the Sabbath itself warning about hostile actions toward their members. On my desk, right in front of me. Early warning and all that; basically it amounts to "self defence is fine, but aggressive activities will be met with whatever the surviving Sabbathites view is appropriate force."

The documents were part of the generic packets every guild gives out in an attempt to recruit, and the Bosses give out to keep the Sabbath off our cases. They're worded politely, like vicious EULAs, a generic non-threat in case an individual is disinterested. I'm referencing them simply because making a bomberman like you've suggested would be a direct violation of both the shield offered by the company and the nonaggression details offered by the Sabbath.

Going through with your plan would end up with your head "used as a seat for the Grand Over-UnderAger of the Moste Thoroughly Delightful and Eternally Youthful Sabbath" for the first seven years of their retaliation. Their documentation is specific on the details and extensive to boot. And they aren't picky about who gets caught in the crossfire.

You guys did a serious number of damages with that crazy tournament. The walls, floors, and somehow even the roofing all got gouges and scorches everywhere. It'd take me a week to deal with this manually.

Fortunately, it seems the whole meddling Management had been doing with their crazy Hellknight program made it so my pending marriage and direct connection to a caster actually qualifies me for use of magic without forcible entry into one of the guilds. Guess who's been a wizard for three bloody years?

So if you start seeing weird sparkling lights and ominous groaning, that's just the aftereffects of the repair-aligned runic arrays. Try not to look directly at them. It's not dangerous per se, but you do risk a bit of eye strain from the brightness.

Also, I may be unavailable for a few hours after finishing up setting the arrays. The arrays should be able to deal with minor repairs during that time before they run out of vis and commjer. In the meantime, please ignore any weird sparkling lights or ominous groaning coming from Maintenance. That'll be the aftereffects of…something other than repair-aligned runic arrays.

This is fucked up right here. I went to HR to get the alp packet, with the persistence of identity paperwork and all that stuff. Along with the seminar info and that bullshit is a Sabbath recruitment pamphlet. "We can guarantee you'll never have to adapt to massive breasts!" and "our trained witches can influence your transformation and allow you to choose from many mamono races!" They're even willing to pay pre-transformation alps a thousand bucks for signing up with them, plus further bonuses if you can become certain mamono types. The worst part is, I WAS TEMPTED. So I decided to shred the damn thing, but none of the shredders will accept it. They work just fine for other documents, but this thing, it's like they know what it is and won't destroy it. Is this even supposed to be in the packet, or have we been infiltrated?

Yeah, that's just a part of the packet. Either return it to HR, or bring it up to Maintenance and I'll deal with it. Just be glad they were only allowed the anti-destruction bindings; they wanted to include subliminals and low-grade transformatives affecting anyone who even touched one of the pamphlets. Thankfully, in a rare case of unity, every other Guild shot down their attempts and only conceded the least option.

And yes, that's a part of the packet, including the document is yet another concession the Guilds made. Personally, I think it's because the Guild heads are all addicted to the Sabbath Scout cookies and don't want to risk an embargo.

Ah yes. As you may have discovered, Telia's gotten taken off the data security and analysis role after some idiot thought her relationship with me would be a 'conflict of interests'. Marketing'll have her running focus simulations from next week but at the moment she's sulking in our database servers.

Really hard to spot the difference however, so it comes down to mannerisms and personality. In short, youko will force herself upon you, whereas Inari will make you force yourself on her. Dominant and submissive, respectively. That's the short version of what I have read. There's two other offshoot spieces as well within the kitsune family, but those aren't so important (they are more like by-products of kitsune from the old world). Really, I'm just happy I finally found a date. I have a buddy who dates a mershark, the two of them are always out at sea. Owns a nice sailboat that he lives in. >alp packets being a thing

The one thing they do have going for them is a pretty hefty Don't Panic enchant. It got put into practice a little under a decade ago. Tell Gazza I know for a fact there'll be at least one single gal there. And he already believes she looks good - he had her picture, after all. If he can put up with her devilishly Daemonic family, he might just have a shot.

And I'm registered at the First-and-Foremost Faithful Fires. It's a bit of an oddball, but it ended up being decently high up the list of recommendations given both by the in-laws and the bosses.

Unless the messages were sent by Upper Management (Gremory, Lightfull, Nullstricken), or the CEO, you should not need to attend any of the meetings. The official company stance is that everything, everything, has to be filed regularly. I instinctively rolled away only to bump into a slime girl who then proceeded to believe I was coming on to her, when I tried to explain as best as I could some lizard girl used a stun gun on her claiming she was security.

I left the area as quickly as I could to my destination only for some large pair of meaty claws to try and grab me from a nearby cubicle at the exact same time a bicorn tried to grab my attention by grabbing my shoulder. the end result of which tore my pants and the pair of paws holding what was left of my pants belonging to a large dark skin wan proceeded to get into a very loud and sudden argument with the bicorn which truned very violent very quickly.

Good news is, you're clear of Sabbath-leaning compulsions. You're not in danger of being dragged into their group unless you intentionally seek it.

Bad news is, there weren't any compulsions on the file, so what you were feeling may have been genuine on some level. If you don't actually want to go Sabbath, you're going to need to be careful in that regard. That being said, while I'm loath to admit it the Sabbaticals do take care of their own. Chances are the incentives they listed were legitimate offers. They're certainly pretty generous when trying to negotiate a Wizard into their ranks. Ummm. So that's a sucky intro… But in regards to roles there were two I know about. One was doing the Firmware dev for the My Cuddle Boyfriend Units… the Deluxe Editions. The other was basic webstore maintenance and general process improvement. I guess show up to the one which sucks the least and hope you beat the other guy there? (The files seriously are lost. Seriously R&D, if you let that… that non-standard hussy into my system I swear by the Principal Program Architects you'll regret it…)

Maintenance here.

I've passed along your thanks to Rossa, Cressida and Nubia. The idea with the Automata Magic w

<An interesting idea, certainly. Goodness knows this metal form is a touch cumbersome when my dearest is not ensconced within.

<Eh, I think I'll be fine. A good ol' stabbystabby and Scabbard gives me enough "juice," as it were, to keep up appearances for a few hours even when he's not holding my hand, so to speak. Although, there might be some fun I could have…hmm, have to ask Newbie about it.

<E-ehhh? I've never heard of such a thing!

…I guess that's interest? Well, if you could send over some information, I'm sure the ladies would be appreciative.

Also, if you're having some trouble with your hardware, I may have mentioned I tinker with things now and again. As such, I've got some spare components you might be able to use. Five Far Shores, I certainly have enough extra repair materials for the high-end equipment that I'll never be able to go through in a decade, even with catastrophic failures on the level of company-level destruction. It's a little ridiculous.

>full moon

Oh. That's tomorrow. Oh dear. I admit I may have gotten a bit caught up in planning other things that I forgot that particular aspect of the day in question. And to think the wedding's the day after…

<Moon as full as a shield.

<Are you ready for the night of love and war?

<Pleasant dreams~

…I am going to need so much coffee. The night and day after will be intense. But…it's not like I mind. For the three beauties at my side, I'd take on the world.

I've forwarded along the specifications. I'm afraid I don't know enough about how folks like yourselves… work to give any more than that. I'm sorry.

Oh… I mentioned to Gazza about that nice young Devil. Apparently he has to buy a new suit and then a new suit for his suit to wear… He actually seems… nervous. It's strange. I've seen him vomit the most vile and lewd invective I've ever heard directly into an ogre's furiously blushing face but now he's scared?

I will never understand humans…

The sub-basement lab is starting to get a bit lonely. Either management hires more researchers to my building or I take matters into my own hands.

I mean, it's like you people intentionally avoid me. What have I done to you lot that I don't know or forgot about?

Also new thread when?
