I was gonna go full bad sad no matter what the answer was but you did manage to get dubs so here's Shyamalan twist
Merry Christmas.
>Turtle-chan's senpai got anxious and began wandering around hospital looking for a snack to calm his nerves.
>insta-cofee and sweet rolls from a vending machine
>He checked his phone. Still no texts or missed calls
>he then overhears some nurses talking about a turtle girl who OD'd on sleeping pills
>Senpai knows turtle-chan takes that stuff to help with her anxiety so he interjects in their conversation
>They're hesitant to disclose the information to him but after verifying her name and other visual descriptors they confirm that his turtle-chan matches the description of the girl
>He rushes to her room but his balance is still a off from the blow to the head
>the nurses help him to the turtle girl's room
>it is indeed his turtle-chan
>she's hooked up too all kinds of machines
>nurses explain they were able to pump her stomach in time but she could be in a coma for a while
>senpai stays with her and pets her head and nuzzles her through the winter months
>he's the first thing she sees when she wakes up
>turtle-chan apologizes but her senpai just smiles and is happy to have his love back
>embrace with kisses and hugs. Enjoy the happy ending

If you failed the romance checks earlier in the story… (absolutely worst ending, do not read if you're averse to sad)
>Turtle-chan never makes it to the hospital
>Senpai stops by her house after he's released but there's no answer at the door
>rings the doorbell and texts her
>still nothing
>Senpai gives up and leaves looking defeated
>camera zooms in through her door
>pans up the stairwell
>edges into turtle-chan's room
>Turtle-chan is laying on the bed with an open pill bottle in her one hand and a picture of he senpai in the other
>eyes sunken in, mouth agape, dried tear stains going down her cheeks
>on her nightstand her cell phone is flashing showing all the texts senpai has sent
>"Turtle-chan, you okay?"
**>"Turtle-chan, you're worrying me. Please call or text me. Miss you"
**>"please pick up"
>"I'm outside, can you please come down?"
>she had been dead for a while. A long time before any of those texts got to her.
>her corpse wouldn't be discovered for at least another week
