Everyone waited patiently until he was finished. When he flipped it back over for them to read, Big Alp sighed. "The cart was unmarked and they were wearing a mask? Didn't that seem a little suspicious to you?"

Alex snatched the pad back and began writing furiously. 'Of course it did! But they weren't alone! One of them was this really tall, really strong person! They wouldn't let me go until I bought some!'

This was all too strange for Cathy. What the hell kind of mess had she gotten into now?

She looked at Alex as he began to head for the showers. "I don't know what's going on, Cathy, but I'm sorry." He said just before Tabitha closed the door behind him.

"His story sounds a little funny to me." Tabitha said after Alex had left. "He's changed his story a little every time you pressed him."

Big Alp nodded, "I noticed. Might just be his nerves got the better of him. You were probably giving off a bad vibe to be fair."

"I believe him." said Cathy. "If he lives around the same area I do, it's not exactly a good part of town. He might have run into some bad people." Big Alp sat back in her chair, "True. The two people he described, wearing masks, one of them was tall and strong. He didn't say whether they were male or female or anything distinct, or if there were more than that."

Tabitha shrugged, "I have a friend who works at the local police department, she might be able to help us. Maybe more people have had run-ins with these masked assholes."

"Maybe. Although I wouldn't rely on her for much more than that. There hasn't really been any crime." Big Alp explained.

"Still, who puts on cologne before they go to the gym?" Tabitha wondered, folding her arms as she leaned against the wall, agitated at the idea.

Cathy shrugged, "You know, I think I can answer that. I don't know where Alex works, but he probably comes here afterwards. He might wear it for work."

"You mean the cologne might be strong enough even after working all day, right?" Big Alp said, finishing Cathy's thoughts.

"Right. He's a human, too, so he probably can't even smell it like us." Cathy continued.

"I guess that makes sense…" Tabitha responded, "You can be pretty smart, kiddo." Cathy gave her a tired smile, "I'm just so glad you two are here to help me. I'm sorry to have caused so much trouble."

"Oh don't worry about it, us girls gotta help each other, right boss? Plus, no offense, but I think we needed some excitement around here." Replied Tabitha, patting her on the back. Big Alp sighed, "There's no reason to be sorry, this could have happened to anyone. I think it'd be a good idea for you to end your shift for tonight, I can't have one of my employees working like this. You only had an hour left anyway." She said, shrugging. "You can wait til my shift is over, I'll walk you home. Deal?" Said Tabitha, standing up off the wall.

A. Take her up on her deal. Maybe make friends with Tabitha on the way?

B. It's only an hour, you can manage. It might wear off through your sweat, too.

C. Shouldn't you go to the hospital just to flush your system? Although you have no insurance and probably don't have enough money…

D. You should just go home, with or without any company. It's been a long day and you have an idea on how to deal with it yourself when you get home.

E. Wait for Alex. He owes you dinner and those rockets. Normally you wouldn't, but you could probably make him if he says no.

"Deal," Cathy said, smiling again. She decided to wait out by the lobby for Tabitha, watching as she made her rounds on the floor, helping any customers that needed it. Alex seemed to have already left and the smell of that cologne with him. He would owe Cathy dinner for sure, but some other time. Right now she just needed to go home. It didn't take long for the hour to pass, and by that time Cathy was feeling much better, though some of the cologne's effects still lingered.

"You ready to get out of here, kiddo?" Tabitha asked, walking up to her with a smile, though Cathy could tell she was still worried. "I am." She answered. "Let's go then!"

As the two of them left the gym, Cathy could hear Big Alp calling out to them. "Be safe!" She said. "Quit your worrying, we'll be fine," Tabitha called back playfully. "I swear, she's like a mother hen sometimes." She said, trying to lighten the mood. Cathy stifled a giggle, deciding it would be best to leave it at that. As they walked the streets, she tried to think of things to say. So much had happened tonight, between the new job and whatever was going on with this weird cologne thing she was a little shaken up. Having Tabitha beside her made her feel at ease, though. It was kind of like having a big sister looking out for you. A big, musclebound cat-like sister that could probably bench press a car, but that was beside the point.

"So, how long have you lived around this part of town?" Tabitha asked, breaking the silence. "Not too long, maybe a year or so," Cathy answered, "It's not the best place but it's not all bad. I don't have a problem with any of my neighbors at the apartment and the landlord is nice enough. What about you?"

Tabitha laughed once, "I was born and raised here. Family's been here forever."

"I see. My family lives just out of town. I should probably tell them what's been going on…" Said Cathy as they approached her apartment. "I'll probably talk to my friend, Val. She's that cop I was talking about before."

"Do you really think she can help me?" Asked Cathy as they walked through the front of the apartment building. "She's got a… 'heightened sense of JUSTICE.' So she'll probably do everything she can to help you out. She's gotten me out of trouble more than a few times." Replied Tabitha.

Wow, this Val sounded like a nice person. Cathy almost couldn't wait to meet her. As they arrived at her flat, Cathy opened the door and sighed. Finally, the day was over. "Thanks for walking me home, Tabitha, and for everything else." Cathy said, smiling again.

"Don't sweat it. You gonna be okay?"

A. Invite her in, you could use the company after that little scare.

"Oh yeah, I'll be fine after I uh, take care of this." Cathy said, giving Tabitha a thumbs up. "Take care of- oh. Ohhhhh! I gotcha," Tabitha said, returning the thumbs up. "I recommend you look up a video called 'Man's Best Friend.' I'm sure it'll do it for ya. Alright, well, g'night then. I'll come by tomorrow to take ya to work, okay?" She said, walking back down the hall. Cathy slowly shut her door and locked it behind her, quickly preparing herself for a long 'session.'

She started up her computer and quickly searched for the video Tabitha recommended. It wasn't hard to find, though strangely it was labeled under 'interracial.' As the video loaded Cathy stripped off her shorts and got more comfortable, hitting play when she was ready.

It was one of the best videos Cathy had seen in a long time, and it even left her satisfied. She let out a deep sigh of relief afterwards, bookmarking the video immediately.

The feeling of unrest she had before was now gone. It was time to check /human/.

There were a few replies to her last post, unsurprisingly most of them were telling her to go all the way with the guy, while others asked for pics of his face in her monstermuff. There was one or two people telling her to take her time with him and more saying she should outright rape him like a real monster would have decades ago. Soon after the thread was flooded with other people's confessions of things that may or may not have actually happened. Now that Cathy had calmed down, she thought about what to do next.
