Jason is actually highly intelligent, throughout the movies, he shows that he can outwit most of is victims, including those who are quite clever themselves, this was before he came OP'd and now he just lumbers after his victims, and in the game, his mother only tells him what to do, he is the one who figures out how best to do it. The idea that he is stupid comes from the fact that he is deformed and mute, however: The muteness was intended only as a means of making him scarier, the kind of guy you can't get into the head of, and thus, can't predict as well, also, he has total contempt for his enemies, he doesn't really ave anything to say to them except for how much he hates them, and he gets that message across much better with his machete than he ever could with words. His deformity was also added just to make him scarier, the mask loses it's appeal if there's just a normal human face behind it (despite his undead nature as a revenant - a revenge-oriented intelligent zombie, ala "the crow"), but deformity doesn't equal idiocy, it only gives us a better understanding of his cold, bitter hatred of all humanity except his mother. Ultimately, jason's intelligence has to be judged by his actions, at his best, he has displayed the ability to learn and adapt quickly, plan out long term strategies (that take's the deferral of gratification, a major trait among intelligence research), and the ability to manage the limited amount of time allotted to him to complete his goals quite well, prioritizing what needs to be done, and how to accomplish it most efficiently. Before you bring up his single-mindedness, ell, he IS a revenant, revenge is literally the only thing keeping him going. BTW, he is a reanimated drowned corpse, so he should be shown as a well-muscled waterlogged corpse, even in his female form. you can also make his female form deformed as well, not to the point of unfuckable ugliness, but enough to cause her to be subjected to the kind of bullying from the other kids that the camp counselors decided to enable, you can even show the camp counselors joining in her bullying when you show her as a little girl, and the progression of how that bullying escalated to her getting drowned. as for freddy, she should have burn scars, Hanako from katawa shoujo or the girl from teaching feeling show you how third degree burns can still be sexy, you can also emphasize her male counterpart's banter by making a point of how she never shuts up (in contrast to fem-jason, who never speaks).
