its quite refreshing to see this kind of stuff, most of the catalog here on /mde/ recently just seems to be complaining about things

you make good stuff. but i've already seen the signs that you will be one of those guys that makes a ton of high-quality shit but never gets credit for it because people jack his shit and rebrand it, or just copy your style. there seems to be markets for that kind of thing. horrible facebook pages that rack up millions of views by reposting other people's content without the watermark, and without giving credit. i've watched your content grow over the past year and i'm a big fan. i just hope you have the marketing skills and wherewithal to protect your intellectual property to prevent content leeches from stealing your stuff. i've been a victim of this on a smaller scale and it will drive you up the wall.

lol you're 100% correct. this is happening and will continue to happen because i have zero marketing skills. thing is, people using my stuff doesn't really bother me too much. i'm well off and i have no intention of making money from comics.

Hey man, if you'd like to at least maintain some degree of having the web point your creations back to you, I recommend creating a page on all the big social media sites (tumblr/twitter/insta/facebook/etc.) and then linking them all up so that if you post to one page, it automatically posts to all the others.

This is what I've done for my interests, and I haven't had to actively interact with anyone for 2-3 years - but I still have a decent following (>10,000). Shows up first on Google and all that jazz, too. Low effort, really.
