I just think he has more important things going on than video production. I mean, he got all the way to Adult Swim and it didn't pan out (obviously not his fault), channel is banned off YouTube, and moreover, he never made money off the channel and made more money on HTBTUSG than from [AS]. Recall the video where Sam went to a Clinton rally and called Hillary Clinton's daughter ugly. The only thing good about the video was the editing.

Sam himself on reddit stated it was sub par. Go to the youtube comments, all the comments were positive, 95%+ positive rating. It was dumb low effort trash, a wasted opportunity. The Bernie Sanders rally one was hilarious.

Dunno when it happened for Sam, but at that point I realised a significant portion of the youtube fanbase were just fucking nuthuggers who would like anything "their guy" does. Probably the same sort of people who think listening to one second of the unfunny faggot podcast is a worthwhile way of spending any of their time on earth.

All modern MDE is just Sam doing these unfunny Eric Andre-tier greasy ramblings. Literally half of his humor these days is just his appearance being disgusting. People forget that the best MDE videos were videos that didn't feature Sam at all.

Big part of this downfall was the exposure from WP and the disband of the group
