Thanks, that seems about right. Vid related seems alot more "Paradigm Shift"-related than anything Sam has done himself. Seems pretty clear he was probably a major contributor for "2070 Paradigm Shift" and probably other more satirical MDE material, though everyone just thinks it's all Sam.
Funnily enough, Sam is a fantastic editor and visual artist, the aesthetic style in early MDE is probably all him, but he's started to believe his own hype and thinks his "Cody Cigar" and "US Marine Hyde" monologues while speeding his car is the real genius behind MDE. If he'd have stuck with the visual element while letting people focus on writing material for him, MDE could have gone alot further.
However, I also believe Sam is a good organiser and probably tries the most to bring people together, as opposed to Charls who likes to do his own thing alone, which is how he likely brought all of the different people together for MDE, but once MDE became synonymous with Sam Hyde after World Peace, everyone else likely bailed, as it was no longer a collaborative experimental comedy art project, but a vehicle for the character of "Sam Hyde". I don't think Sam planned for it to turn out that way, but that's how it's ended up. Sam probably saw the writing on the wall, and to his credit, started Hydewars rather than drag the MDE name through the mud to keep it on life support by himself when everyone else dropped it, but without the outside influences, Hydewars is all Sam Hyde but without his visual effects work, so it goes nowhere beyond burnt out trolling. I think the only real option left for Sam is to move out to Pennsylvania and smoke big ol doinks in Amish
