I think the fact that he hangs with Charls makes it pretty clear where he stands.

Am I the only one who finds Ruse a little annoying, especially when he makes an obvious appearance in the work? I'm not sure how he got involved with MDE, but they made great content before he even showed up. As in, it somewhat feels like he just inserted himself as director, and has to be introduced as such all the time.

I like his work but he seems too into himself, it's off putting. You can be confident and charismatic without being conceited. Nick, Sam and Charls are all examples of that.
