and i also think that the blacklisted desperado vid was the final act of hubris that did sam in. he probably thought that everyone he fucked over in recent months was too fragmented and distant from one another to put any solid narrative against him in place. he tried to push everything out of the way in the middle of this summer– within the span of like two days in late june he wrote those fake checks and met up with multiple other "friends" who didn't know each other in order to harass/bully them into deleting their communications with him (in certain cases under the guise of genuinely trying to be friendly/make amends)… trying to sweep everything under the rug and move on. a few weeks went by and those people seemed to be out of the picture for the most part and his paranoia probably lifted a bit. then he put out that pedo catcher video which of course was infuriating considering he's a childfucker himself. then ensued the shitstorm he was so worried was going to happen. lmao.
