Yeah. I dug up my Discord account to join the forum when it got created and ended up being the first non-moderator user or something. I'm a pretty big deal, yeah? There was some chill chatting for a short while but within a few days, it started getting weird, and then weirder. I left and tried to come back many months later, thinking it might have gotten better. It asked for my phone number so I passed and have no idea how it is now. I'd guess it's still a cesspit. This is strange because I've rarely had qualms with Charlschat on Twitch. Maybe it's Discord itself that warps and brainblasts its userbase.

it's… not…. I mean…. no, you guys are right, it is a pretty bad chat. I joined just a few weeks ago, and the people there can be super cliquey and intolerant of different opinions even totally unrelated to Charls. There's this mood in the chat like Charls is always watching, and people just can't seem to relax. Everyone is hyper aware when he is online, and they post a lot of shit really quickly looking for his attention/approval, even tho he hasn't posted in the chat in many many months (besides once in the update channel about one of his streams airing).

I remember when he streamed Farcry 5, and right at the beginning in the helicopter crash scene with the father telling the deputy that no one was there to save him, Charls said (off the top of my head) "is this suppose to scare me? you're not crazy, you're just weird, I'm weird too".

And in the scene where the bald survival dude has the deputy in handcuffs, and he's ranting about how he should have just left him to get killed, Charls went something like "are you suppose to be my dad? why didn't you just leave me there if I was such a bother to you, I don't need anything from you". And the way he said it made me feel really bad for him, like it was entirely true.

At the time, I was thinking to myself, "well charls, you did it to yourself" and just meaning anything that ever happens shouldn't disturb him. And I knew right then people would try very hard to disturb him haha
