Walmart is getting rid of their last stocks of mini rugers.

600 dollars off what Gander mountain sells them for.

I want to get one because I like the battle rifle style guns such as fn49

Out of stock in my area.

>buying from walmart

>buying from walmart after they cucked out and implemented the "21 and over for guns and ammo" rule at their stores

600 dollars in savings means you could get a decent pistol and shotgun.

22e36f  No.604024

So instead of $1,400 they're only $800? Maybe if they came stock with 30 rounders and could be easily converted to STANAG, they'd be worth it.

a98d9a  No.604035

I own a Mini 14. Not worth it, but I won mine at a raffle so I'm OK with owning one. I would just never buy one.

I consider principles worth more than any savings you'd get. Boycott walmart, Dick's, and anyone else who went along with the bandwagon

Wait, these rifles don't use AR mags? Wtf.

6cdf60  No.604060

>The 80/90s version of the AR

I like it because it has that 90s militia aesthetic, but I would not pay more than $600 for one.

>>604056

This was what you bought if you couldn't afford a Colt or Bushmaster.

Isn't the Mini-14 absurdly expensive though?

6cdf60  No.604062

>>604061

In 80s and 90s it was cheaper. AKs were cheaper too.

ace501  No.604066

I think I'm going to purchase an AR15-A4 by Colt tbh famalams, is Colt still a good brand that produces quality firearms?

I'm worried because of the bankruptcy shit.

350883  No.604067

>>604024

Its not so much a problem these days given you can get drum mags for them let alone standard 30 rounders.

>>604066

You're paying an extra 300+ for the colt roll mark. There are cheaper to be had guns out there.

>$800

According to OP's link, my nearby Walmart was selling at $399, out of stock now. I'm in occupied Florida.

I bought a Windham W-16 and asked the gallery here the same question, did I make a mistake getting Windham instead of Colt? Of all answers that came pouring and trickling back in over all, I'd say at worst I paid less money for the same quality, at best some suggested I saved money and got a possibly better rifle. Colt just ain't what it used to be in many departments, its not just bankruptcies, over time they have been bleeding talent and other things. Once their skilled human capital starts to leave its becoming more and more of just a name than a company.

2aeb70  No.604081

>>604066

Like others have said, Colts are the Air Jordans of firearms these days–you're paying for a name and a logo more than you are quality. Plenty of better options out there if you want a prebuilt M16 clone, and there's always the option of putting it together yourself.

>>604072

Wyndham is good people, they were founded by skilled labor refugees fleeing Bushmaster's acquisition by Remington/Cerberus Group.

cb088c  No.604082

There are quite a few selling them for 399$ around me as well, all sold out. I'm in North Florida through, near the border.

6cdf60  No.604100

>>604082

Employees probably bought them all as soon as they hit thst price.

80aa55  No.604198

Ranch Rifles used to be $450 new, $300 used, while even DPMS/Olympic ARs pushed a grand. The 90's/2000's were fucked up for domestic production.

99ae32  No.604199

2008 perma-fucked gun prices and (((they))) went along after nothing happened as if it were business as usual.

(((They))) even justify high prices now and then because their unwarranted profits would be at risk if people remember the great handwringing of the '08 election.

>great handwringing of the '08 election

That was hilarious when you think about it. Barack "Greatest gun salesman in history" Obama. It's like the Streisand effect only for firearms. I imagine it's a pretty scary scenario for communists everywhere when your gun control guy makes people buy more firearms than ever before.
