Are the gun shops who refuse to not sell post-86 MGs to cops out of Principle & respect for regular gun owners not any better than that Subgun Jew who was whining about people wanting to destroy his "investments"?

591d66 No.585748

Why do cops need full auto? I'm not saying regular people don't call them civilians, cops are civilians too shouldn't have fa funs but I find police use of them a bit questionable. From my civilian understanding, soldiers rarely use full auto fire from rifles/carbines, mostly using semi-auto fire with full auto being largely reserved for breaking ambushes and very close in work. Is this wrong? Considering the piss-poor training of most burger cops and the liability concerns (especially with those thin walls Americans use) shouldn't they be paying great attention to where each shot goes?

I must admit I am pretty biased, I'd like to see police restricted to using 'traditional' looking arms such as the Ruger Mini-14 simply because using a firearm employed by a military as its standard service arm generates the wrong mindset in a policeman. A policeman should never be allowed to think he is in anyway related to a soldier. They should be forced to stick to light blue too, camo on cops is pathetic.

but refusing to not sell means they're refusing to let you leave the store without a gun

>not any better

On the contrary, they are far better because they realize these rights are for everyone and not just the cops. Refusal to give the state (which the 2A is put in place to thwart if needed) is very noble. It's why even if I had the money I would refuse to own NFA.

OP meant dealers who sell full-autos to cops and don't push for civilian ownership on the basis that if they were legal to own they wouldn't be as expensive.

Money>Principle

You would think they would push to undo the NFA because more customers, but it seems they are just fine with the higher price/fewer customers business model.

With the steady decline of brick and mortar shops as a whole due to the internet being infinitely more reliable, I can understand their desperation. Hell, gun shops are thrilled to hear when gun laws get pushed because the internet gets clogged up and people are forced to buy from them instead. That's why people regard Obama as the best gun salesman in the country - it's not a joke, it's a fact that retailers cashed out massively when he so much as blinked in our direction.

>enter gunstore

>look around

>no bargains today

>go to leave

>a mountain of a man blocks the door

>looks me up and down

>hands me a FA MP5 and steps aside

I'm ok with this.
