My grandmother had a P. Beretta mod 950 B-Cal 22 short Minx (I'm assuming manufactured in 1960 from a blog where I found this exact image). I intend to sell it, possibly on Ebay. The only thing I know about selling guns is that you can't sell the ammunition with it. Maybe. That's from word of mouth. After all the crazy (deceptive) media hype against guns, I'm paranoid about this. I need to know everything pertinent to selling this weapon. What's legal, what's not. That sort of thing.

1. Don't sell an heirloom/inherited gun, there will always be more crack but never another hand me down gun.

2. It's a felony to sell on ebay, depending on your state of residence you will either have to make a face to face sale (which you can advertise on a site like armslist or gunbroker or a local forum) or sell it to or through a licensed gun store. A face to face sale is only legal in the state of your residence to a non-felon. Plenty of states restrict this, look up your state's private handgun sales laws.

3. I realize this is probably an FBI/troll post but I'm responding anyway so that the newfags can learn from this and so you guys in Washington can see what good boys we are

>Selling an inherited gun.

I don't know how to convince you it's not. You can remain paranoid. That's healthy anyway. Thanks for the information about how felonious my intention was, as I didn't realize. Preventing being arrested is a top priority.

Yeah, no.

If you're serious -

• eBay does not allow firearms to be listed.

• It's illegal to ship a firearm without the proper FFL licensing.

• Private Sales, depending on where you live, may be your only option.

  - The website Armslist is a board you may post your firearm for a private sale. Due to people being fucking idiots, expect black people, undercover feds, and people from out of state to contact you. Refuse these people, because you may be shot/arrested in a sting operation/participating in a crime.

  - When doing a private sale, always ask to see the driver's license of the one buying it. Have the serial number of the firearm written down and write down the name of the person who bought it. If applicable in your state, you can also request to see their permit to carry a concealed weapon. This is to cover your ass if the police knock on your door asking about your gun being at a crime scene - mainly for recently purchased guns, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

• dont fucking sell inherited guns you hoplophobic bitch
