Considering I live around both, I'd argue flips are better.

The Spanish soldiers of that time were still amongst the best there was. The USN completely outclassed the Spanish navy, which is the only reason the US won. Fighting on the ground between US and Spanish almost always went to Spain advantage.

Look up the fighting in Cuba, the spaniards were often fighting 1 VS 5 (if not 10) against US infantry + unknown numbers of rebels and were still winning (or inflicting tremendous loses when losing).

The thing was that without naval support the Spanish generals knew resistance was futile so every "major" battle ended up in quick surrenders, but every minor engagement clearly showed clear superiority for Spain.

Flips are Christian Asians, kind of like Spics are Christian Aztecs I'm not counting the white ones.

Honestly the Flips behave a lot better. They're still very annoying but they're better than Spics, they don't engage in crime anywhere close, don't take welfare as much…

The fuck are you smoking? Our who military was like 20 years behind every major European power at that time.

This is true it wasn't until after Europe got rekt by WWI that we had the chance to grow and fill the global vacuum. Even then our navy ships and tactics were largely untested until Japan.

And our troops did well against the Spanish on land. Most of the battles were U.S. victories

As I recall America went pretty isolationist after WW1, you needed Europe and Britain to burn twice as well as 7 years as the only nuclear power on the planet and backing communist/anti-white movements around the globe to become what you are today.

No I'm not, the Spanish fleet was large but mainly made up of unarmored cruiser with 6inch guns and a handful of more modern lightly armored cruisers with questionable heavy mounts (and 1 modern armored cruiser with dummy guns for it's main battery).

And while the Spanish fleet was bigger it was dispersed all over the planet, when the US fleet ports were right outside Cuba…

The major sea battle of the Spanish American war was the battle of Santiago de Cuba which pitted FIVE US BATTLESHIPS vs THREE Spanish cruisers (+ 4th one being the one without it's main batteries). Spain was ridiculously outgunned.

The other big naval engagement of the war (Manilla Bay in the Philippines) was even more one sided, the US ships (modern armored cruisers) simply run circles in a neat line and hammered the spanish ships (old unarmored cruisers) while themselves staying out of range of the spanish guns.

One US soldier died… of a heart attack!

Dewey was promoted to Admiral of the Navy (6S) for his feat of sinking an entire fleet without a scratch (a rank no one has ever held since).
