Zoklet was a tiny bit better, there ware some folks who knew chemistry, but they mostly concentrated on drugs instead of weapons.

Roguesci aka "the explosives and weapons forum" was a good thing as long as it lasted. Strict moderation and good info.

Out of stuff that still exists sciencemadness.org is the best on the chemistry side (energetic chemistry they call it).

For weapons I'd look at homegunsmith.com, weaponsguild.com/forum/index.php, weaponeer.net and so on.

But seriously, as long as totse existed it was considered the worst in any aspect it covered and most of it's articles ware ripped from other sources. But I recall a thread from there where some kidiot was building a .308 handgun from copperpipe and epoxy. Did not find the thread agian on a later date to verify it the idiot managed to kill himself or not.

But I'm not aware of any zoklet or totse mirrors.

That's a rather larger can of worms.

Lab safety books might be a start.

And in general knowing what you are doing.

One can quite easily generate the typical nitrous oxides and chlorine.

But shit like HCN or H2S can also be encountered. Double fun if you are reading some random procedure off the net that's based on some article from 1938 and it assumes that those familiar with the art will scrub all that H2S with hypoclorite and NaOH as it is formed.

So I'm not aware of any magic bullets.

Are there any resources akin to the anarchist cookbook but more modern and not shit? Making napalm is hardly a secret these days and payphones are nearly all gone.
