H&K is also on the red and the G36 has been irrelevant for a while, they will not sell it to anyone else. Hell, retards pay for the 416, this looks cheaper to manufacture (extruded aluminium, probably 6xxx).

I don't think there is any small arms manufacturer that can go on forever while neglecting the civilian market too much, at least not without financial issues. Another alternative to civilian market is diversification of product portfolio.

I was comparing 416 to 433. One is milled and the other is extruded. The later is more efficient and cheaper overall.

The G36 can be as cheap as it wants, it won't sell again. An inexpensive product that doesn't sell is not profitable. I'm also not sure how much cheaper it is when compared to the 433, the handguard of the G36 has been made of aluminium for a while, that alone leaves it fairly close to the 533. Add up the steel embed polymer injection for the stupid trunion and you're likely close enough to justify the change just in hope of getting more sales.

The Bren 806 (and 807 in the case of Pakistan) is already selling abroad, the 433 seems to be following the same concepts.
