You see: many people here would like to see many pushers, enforcers and capos hanging from light poles yet since we're a cucked nation without any way to citizens to defend themselves, they can only rely on security forces. And even some of them work on some cartel agenda.

Local police is an absolute no. Some state police forces are absolutely worthless, and only a few state police forces are BOPE tier: Tamaulipas State Police. And some of them were on the payroll of one Gulf's Cartel boss who used them to fight ANOTHER GC boss (who got BTFO recently and escaped). The others are the GATE from Coahuila State Police.

When Calderon was president, there was the rumor that since the Zeta cartel grew too powerful and violent and threatened the whole country (think "ISIS" but with spicd), the Mexican Federal Government and the Sinaloa Federation made a secret alliance: the govt. would let them be in exchange of intel and both govt. and the SC would fight together the Zetas. The Alliance worked and the Zetas got so weakened that they only controlled one state for many years: Coahuila, and they even controlled one state prison and used them as extermination camp and they even hold parties inside the prison.

Many leftards thought the Autodefensas were an spontaneous civilian movement against the Templar Knights Cartel. Yet if you look closely, Coalcoman, the home town of Mireles (founder of the Autodefensa movement) is on the border with Jalisco, the turf of the Jalisco Cartel. That was at odds with the KTC. And let's not forget the Sierra Santana brothers who were members of the Autodefensa and later founded the Viagras.

Shitposting aside, the Sierra Santana and other members of the Autodefensas were known criminals who got admited and tolerated by Mireles and other leaders because of their knowledge on the modus operandi of criminal gangs.

And believe me, cartels are very complex. Comparing the Gulf Cartel with the Sinaloa Cartel or the Jalisco Cartel or with minor gangs in Guerrero like The Tequileros, The Rojos and The Ardillos (literally "The Squirrels") is like comparing apples with cabbages and potatoes.
