But that being said due to its ease of use and ease of maintanence I'd have to say yeah the AR is America's rifle. There not a gun I'd pick over it for most applications. It's easy to teach people on and accurate for a semiauto. Plus it's extremely modular being able to be adapted for a multitude of roles is a very short amount of time. It is literally the one size mostly fits all rifle pattern.
