Ukraine testing out a 7.62x39mm AR with possible conversion kits to 5.45. Could this mean good 7.62 ARs in the American market? Thoughts? Looks pretty good to me.

So it's the same thing US manufacturers have been making for years but fucking up because instead of making one giant feed ramp they use the two tiny M4 feed ramps. I mean just looking at the pic it seems it uses regular stanag style mags so we already have those. The mag well is the same so it's not like it's a cmmg mutant for a possibly lower price. The only interesting thing about this to me is if it does reach the US would we see the 5.45 version become popular? most likely not as people are probably still traumatized by the key-holing bullets from when 5.45 was first being chambered in ARs and also people didn't really take advantage of 5.45 when it was 12 cents a round since you needed a new AK or the fucked ARs with wrong twist rates and 5.45 is still not sold at places like walmart since just as it became popular russian sanctions, ATF faggotry, and king nigger came by to shit on all the fun

As the owner of #2, I'm amused to see Velvet Remedy has become a meme.

Also, I bought a 5.45 AR barrel in the recent holiday sales, so I'm likely to have an extra upper for that particular gun. … As soon as I find somebody with a tiny little 5.45 bolt known to correctly headspace with BA barrels. They're so rare I can't even GIS a suitable image to show how tiny it is.
