Terrorists promise people with 72 virgins or whatever to go blow themselves up, and the western media pushes that idea because it makes Muslims in general look backwards. Actually looking up what the Hoor-al-ayn are requires effort, and if someone wants to hate Muslims they have no incentive to lessen that hate.
