Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you.

"Allah is but one God. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs." [4:171]

Simple question:

What is islams stance on math and science? What if a scientific realization contradicts islamic belief?

>What is islams stance on math and science?

They're essential in understanding Creation

>science contradicts islam

Not possible.

There is no need for "what if" questions.

If you think Islam is disproven by science, bring your strongest claim.

If you think Islam is disproven by another religion, bring your strongest claim.

If you don't think Islam is disproven, then submit to your Creator.

If we find something that contradicts a verse in the Quran, we're supposed to keep learning. Science is constantly changing, and what might be a contradiction now should end up aligning with the Quranic view later.

Shying away from information is what weak people do. It isn't just confined to science and religion.

The translation for your first one is shit. The sun is referred to as a lamp, meaning that it lights up and emits heat and light. The Quran uses a different word for the moon, which means that it's somehow different. The word used is Munir, which means bright, shining or luminous, but doesn't imply the light is coming from the original object. Someone with a better knowledge of Arabic would be able to explain it better.

science comes and goes and previous theories are always being disapproved by newer ones so I don't like the ""TOP 10 SCIENTIFIC MIRACLES FOUND IN QURAN"" type of things because those scientific stuff can be disapproved in 10 years
