Why do so many great Islamic Poets sound like heretics?

I was gonna quote some Hafiz, Rumi, and Shabestari but I think most people are familiar with their "style" to know what I mean…

or am I just wrong?

Those are poets from muslim lands not islamic poets. Those poets are the only ones who became popular in the christian countries for obvious reasons. Please checkout our Recited Islamic Poetry thread. Many of the best poets were also Islamic scholars.
