There's no specific colour or size, but they're generally made of cheaper materials. From what I've seen brass or silver rings with polished zircon gems are quite common.

True, but for a person to not believe that Muhammad(pbuh) is the last prophet is a pretty good indication that they are not Muslim. Members of the Nation of Islam believe Elijah Muhammad to be the last prophet of Allah.
