They probably do but it's insufficient to meet demand.

The treatment of the animals there is probably horrific but sadly that's just par for the course in the meat industry.

People are shipping animals to Muslim countries to be slaughtered? Shipping an animal is more difficult and expensive than just shipping the meat. It's not like you have to slaughter an animal in an Islamic country for it to be halal or anything.

The guy in the video sounds upset, but then again he's calling Islam a dumb religion from the bronze age. I'd say "webm or fuck off" but I doubt there are enough guys here to give him a considerable amount of views.

It was a reaction to a story about how people are transporting cattle to Muslim countries by boat. The video maker goes on about how bad it is for the animals, and pins the blame on Islam

It's one of those channels where they try and sound sophisticated while giving their opinions on things, and end up looking pretentious.

i agree it's disgusting but the whole food industry is like that.

these animals only exist so we can eat them, if they get diseased they get shot, thrown into a pit and cremated.

there's no love there, the animals are just currency to fulfill contracts.
