That article is 3 years old. A few years back, many people thought ISIS was doing a good thing by bringing stability to a war ravaged area and bringing a proper Caliphate.

That's true. But the video the canadian-anon and I were talking about came out 3 years ago as well.

And polls during that time showed most muslims viewed ISIS unfavorably, just as another terrorist group. But that quite a lot of palestinians viewed them favorably. (24%)
