Islam forbids these things, but the Quran is a bit more unclear.
On Pork - the Quran talks about pigs in derogatory words, but on the part where it says don't eat pork, a different word is used, translated its "unclean meat". In 700 AD, that could have meant Pork or it could have meant, rotten dirty meat or animals we don't normally eat. Personally, I will go by what my modern day society that I live in (Texas) and assume that the flesh of pets, sick animals, and cheap meat.
Chinese Muslims eat pork, like they've eaten Pork for the few thousand years before Islam showed up.
The Quran prohibits getting wasted, but Wine is spoken of positively. It's pretty much says, avoid drinking it, since there's more negatives than positives.
No mention of tobacco anywhere. I'm an ex-smoker, [foul language] cigarettes, the [foul language] should be haraam anyway. So if I was a mullah, I would be finding ways to pretty much tell my flock that smoking is haraam, when it isn't.
So there you go, there's the Quran, and then there's Islam.
