I've been wondering about racism in the Islamic world.
I've read about how Islamic scientists would use the "bread analogy" for race, where brown/light-brown/perfect bread on the top, white/Turkish/half-baked bread in the middle, and blacks/burnt bread on the bottom.
I've also seen similarities between the Islamic Caliphates and the American South. During the US Civil War people fought to free black Christians from the hands of their white Christian masters. Meanwhile, the Zanj rebellion had black Muslims fighting for their freedom their Arab Muslim masters.
I know how Muhammad(PBUH) said all races of Muslims are equal, but the racism that existed since the dawn that still exists today is questionable.
Recently I saw a video of two black people in France playing tennis, and then a gang of Afghans begins chasing them with baseball bats.
