My friends and I used to joke about Peppa Pig being haram, but that was just joking. I never thought people would take it seriously.

The only thing that makes pigs different in Islam is that you're not allowed to eat pig-based products. Watching a cartoon with them is fine. You don't see Muslims freaking out about Animal Farm or Loony Toons.
