As of now, I don't. Currently I'm waiting for a short internship to start, so I'll be back to having somewhat of a schedule soon. But the past three years I've been basically flunking 95% of my university courses because I somehow only can deliver good work if I have more or less continous oversight and so far, academic probation apparantly isn't a thing in Germany. Now I'm looking for internships to find jobs I might be interested enough to apprentice in, but I didn't even know what I wanted to make of my life before I started studying, so it's a whole lot of "Would I be able do this for the rest of my life? Yeah. Do I want to do this for the rest of my life? Hell, no." Which is only fuelling my self-hatred and defeatism.

I need some advice.
There's somebody I know that I barely talk to anymore, and I have the sneaking suspicion that they don't really care for me anymore.
Should I even bother with trying, or should I just forget about them?
Or maybe I'm just being paranoid about them disliking me?
I just don't know, I'm bad with these things.
Sorry to bother with something like this
6455fa No.7131

>that they don't really care for me anymore.

6455fa No.7132

It's hard to say.
Do they seem disinterested when they talk to you?
I would try talking to them and if they seem uninterested move on. Otherwise, it will come off as clingy and desperate.
6455fa No.7133
>>7131
Probably a bit of both.
Mostly the disliking part.
>>7132
I'm not sure.
I rarely ever see them in the first place, but the few times I do it's really short. I don't think they're disinterested, they just have better things to do than be/talk with me?
That's precisely what I'm scared of, I'd rather just move on than be all clingy and annoying.
Actually, after thinking about it, I do think it's more just I've become irrelevant to them over the past few years. Probably just has better things to do than deal with me.
It's better to just not bother him, right? That seems to be what I'm reaching right now.
6455fa No.7134
>>7133
That's a thing that happens. I mean, if you've tried talking on multiple days, and you're just getting one word answers or something, he's obviously not very invested. So if you're concerned that you're being irritating or not getting the hint or something, I'd just leave it in his court and see if he takes the initiative to message you or not.
6455fa No.7135
>>7133
I can't make that decision for you.
However, I would say hi to them if you see them. Like friendly chatter if you see them. Try not to be insistent just say hi and bye and leave it at that. If they say something to you that's great! If not, just be your usual self and just say hello.
6455fa No.7136
>>7134
It might be partially my fault, since I usually won't try to talk unless they initiate the conversation. Which probably doesn't help, but it's just how it is.
