Shame that they're so expensive and the game library is pretty limited on them. They're pretty fun to use.
de21e3 No.66771

I really can't see them getting to a price that would make them a good value within the next few years.
And besides that, I don't really follow it or anything, so there could be many, but I'm not personally aware of any VR-exclusive games that would make it worth the purchase.
If I had a lot of disposable income, though, why not.
bd4fdb No.66772

I'd have to buy a new PC for it, since my current one is only getting more outdated by the day.
Yes, but I'm talking about years down the line, when people are dumping them for the newest version or something.
I think they're mostly for people with lots of disposable income in the first place.

Yeah, I thought you mentioned working on a new build within the next few years, though.
Oh, you mean when they become common in the used market kind of deal.

I want to, but there's not really any reason to.
I don't really play any new games on it that it can't handle, so maybe I'll just leave it be.
Yes, that's what I mean. So I can enjoy the gimmick after all the games have come out, and for a good price too.
Gimmicks are fun, at least for a little bit.

You may as well until it wears itself out or something comes out that you can't run very well.
That might be worthwhile. If I could get one for right around $200, I would probably consider it.
They can be, if they're not too intrusive. I'm not a huge fan of touch screens and waggle controls.
bd4fdb No.66776
>>66775
I've kinda grown attached to this PC anyways, so I'd be sad to retire it. I'd probably drop ~$150 on it, since I see it in the same way as buying another monitor for the PC, essentially.
Touch screens are great for phones, but they have no place in games. Wagglin was bad, but I'm thankful for the Wii since it kinda brought back light gun games in a way.
de21e3 No.66777

The wii wasn't an awful machine, but I never got much action out of it. Same with the WiiU, after I was satisfied with DKC, it essentially turned into my tv remote, since it has that feature, and I don't have a proper one.
It'd be nice to see some new rail shooters popping up here, I'm not really aware of anything with any real money behind it.
