The only way you get deployed here is by joining the peacekeeping operations by either military or UN, but UN isn't too much of a deal here.
Also there are various tests before you can get in the peacekeeping operations both physical and mental.

Well, they had probably the best light tanks at 1930s, but once the war was on, everyone started thinking bigger and thus became the age of medium and heavy tanks, which were pretty short-lived though as everyone realized by the late 50s that MBTs were the way to go.
Also Sweden still kept the idea of tank destroyers alive, but they decommissioned the last of those 20 years ago.
