It's saturday evening, what are your plans?
Have or watched or played anything neat recently?
Tasted sweet success or bitter failure in matters of the heart?
Why not drop by and tell us about it?

If you're getting the phrase wrong. Then what you said is nonsensical. My inability to understand what you're trying to say is not a deflection. But instead a grasp at what you're trying to imply.
Simply put. Avoid phrases and idioms if you're not aware of the cultural connotations and the meaning behind said phrase or idioms.
It will only confuse others and make you look like a dummy.
As for the posters here. I exercise no control over the people that post here and even if I did. It would be more of a symbolic act than a act of power. In addition to that, people post here whenever they want to. However, they want to. I exercise zero authority over when and how people post. So, if you wanted to make a correct judgement based on observation. You would say I have authority to exercise my power over the people that post here. But since the people that post have their own lives to attend to. I cannot actively control them and their nature. Thus, I am limited in my power over others.

The phrasing "your lot" was very, very intentional. I have a far greater grasp of this language than you see most times, as most times it simply serves no purpose.
There's also the fact that a decade and a half of being betrayed has made me very cautious when it comes to my choice of words and my phrasing.
Your interpretation of "your lot" was perfectly correct, but your further elaboration on the subject just proves my first point to be flawless - your lot is incapable of retrospection.
But even if I raised accusations, you would once again deflect and dismiss them, because even the mere notion of such a thing being possible has never occured to you, so obviously any accusation you will instinctively dismiss as false.
It proves another statement of mine to be valid as well - that Last Dawn is a pointless endeavor, a meaningless undertaking. Let's just say that my fantasy of the average member of society using that project as a point of either introspection, retrospection or reflection of any kind is little more than that - a fantasy. Yet another remnant of my hopelessly optimistic nature.
▶ 3424b4 (70) No.53762>>53764
>>53760
Don't you all need the rain, though?
▶ 33ddd0 (119) No.53763>>53812
>>53761
Firstly, let's address what deflect means.
Deflect is the inability to answer a question and move on to a different question. Your infatuation with the word deflect is rather peculiar. You say it when people are not actively addressing the question and when people are directing addressing the question.
When people are directly addressing the question you bring up the past and say that something horrible has happened to you. You do this. Time. And. Time. Again. In my situation. You post quite a bit later with a possessive phrase that is inherently false. I do not own the people here nor do I exercise control over them. So, the phrase you said makes no sense.
I said that 'you lot' would make more sense. Since the people that post here, post on there own time, free from coercion. But to address the more personal at hand. You're simply collectivizing us into a clique were I am a leader and I exercise my authority over them by telling them what to do.
This is yet again another false assertion. People that post here do what they want free from my control. If people here have a disdain for you. Then most likely it's your own fault for actively destroying your own facade. You don't seem to have learned much during this decade and a half of learning to "very cautious when it comes to my choice of words and my phrasing".
So, I'm under the impression that you yourself are incapable of understanding the concepts of introspection and retrospection.
And thus you have contempt for those that seem to have understood the concepts of introspection and retrospection.
Furthermore, your opinion of the average person is marred and disfigured to the point that they're metaphorical monsters. Your twisted observation of these people has led to you isolating yourself and lashing out at people. Like my lot. We have been nothing but kind to you with the occasional lapse in judgement. Instead you lash out at us and you make assertions that are rather bewildering. So, like some self-fulfilling prophecy we start to loathe you. But, in my time as I jumped to board to board. It seems that you're unable to keep a conversation without making baseless assertions and lashing out at others.
Perhaps it's you that is unable to understand the connotations of introspection and retrospection.

>Deflect
>cause (someone) to deviate from an intended purpose.
Would be the closest definition to my use, as most others are about objects. Your definition is blatantly wrong, not found in any dictionary, and yet you insult my use and comprehension of the language. The implication was simple - I raised a point, and instead of addressing it, you decided to talk about what you decided was incorrect use of a phrase. That's clear deflection.
The phrase 'you lot' would only make sense under the following criteria:
1. If I was addressing a group of people directly. Which I was not doing. I was talking to you alone.
2. If I was intending to use 'you lot', which I was not. I said 'your lot', as in your group, your community, and yes, your interpretation is also correct.
Of course, what I would consider "influence", you would not, just like Poppy-chan wouldn't either, most likely. Setting a precedent, of course, would not qualify as "influence" to you. But realize this - the people here actively avoid pissing you off. And if they see that you deliberately avoid associating with a person, then they shall follow suit, because associating with me is "tainted", and might result in them being shunned as well. It's a very simple tradition of society, one which I guarantee you have partaken in, and continue to, daily, but will never be aware that you're doing it as it's perfectly normal to you. And as such, you will never consider that to be "influence".
It's exactly why I say "your lot". Because that's exactly what they are.
I do adore the passive-aggressiveness. And I thought I exhibited traits of "bitchy teenage girl".
And this is where Last Dawn comes in, and comes in as the most apparent and easy to understand example of both introspection and retrospection. Considering how many of the conversations and characters in the game are based on conversations and people from my own past and even present, I actively spend most of my time conscious doing it.
You, on the other hand? Well, see the paragraph above once more, and realize that you will never even attempt to consider that position as even potentially valid.
Metaphorical monsters? No, no. You're actual monsters. You're capable of greater harm than anything on TV ever will. I have never, not once, lashed out without being provoked first. Even today, I only "lashed out" because I tried to say hello in an average way, and you blatantly, and deliberately, ignored me. That's an example from TODAY of you being the very opposite of kind.
But please, do keep denying it. You are a normie, after all.

I think you'll find that my definition of deflect encapsulates the dictionary definition quite. My extrapolation of the word deflect is on the basis I was entirely avoiding the question.
But this is not the case. I'm simply unsure why you used the phase your lot. My intent is was not to "deflect". But to understand what you're trying to convey. Clearly, the phrase is contemptuous and presumptive. So, you're quite charged and your emotions tend to run a muck.
And again, you fail to understand the reason behind why 'you lot' is more appropriate for your initial sentence. 'you lot' can be directed at a single person to convey a group of people. Since again, I don't own the people here 'your lot' would be inappropriate.
In addendum to that. I have little 'influence' over what people say or do here. I can tell people not to talk to you or someone else here. But, you'll notice that they'll talk to you regardless of my feeling of contempt towards you or someone else. People here still talk to you and people here still enjoy your company regardless of my opinion of you. So, your idea of me being a predominant 'influence' is rather dissociative and bewildering. So, once more. You saying 'your lot' is inappropriate for that sentence.
Your observation of my community is based on your heavily opinionated judgement and you reach conclusions that are inherently false. People here can and will actively try to 'piss me off'. I'm not sure where this observation has come from but I usually ignore people that try to 'piss me off'. Historically, this has been an effective counter-measure against people I hate or have contempt towards. However, I don't use this method often as it's a difficult to follow through and it takes a long time to for it to work. Perhaps the reason people interpret you as a "tainted" is that you start drama and you dredge irrelevant drama from no where and parade it around as if people care. Them not talking to you is your action and their action. I am free from any decisions that they partake in when they form a relationship with you.
To answer your question:
I do have an idealized vision of my community. One free from drama and in-fighting. But, it's an ideal community that can never be obtained. It's just a vision of what I want. I cannot force people to adhere my vision and I cannot 'influence' others to adopt my dream. People that post here will continue to do what they want to do regardless of what I want. This idea of a tradition you hold is nonsensical. The community does what it wants when it wants and if people here collectively loathe you it's more than likely your fault. If you take issue with this. Then probably you're lacking the mental faculty to comprehend introspection and why others ignore you or why they avoid you.
As for me, I try being nice to you and you tell me things like "slit my wrist" and then continue to post about it in some sort of facetious fashion to the point I get annoyed and move on. So, to you it appears I'm ignoring you. When in reality. It's quite awkward to have a conversation with you since you're almost always openly hostile to me and the others.

Arguing with you is meaningless, so this is the last I'll respond to this.
Find me a dictionary that fits your definition. I've looked over five and all fit mine.
Considering that your assumption was just that I said "your" instead of "you" by mistake, you could have very easily just responded to the point, while also pointing the "mistake" out, but you didn't, and I guarantee that you would have never addressed the point if I had not brought it up.
And no. At best, the two are about of equivalent accuracy. But really, considering what I noted of your influence over people, "your lot" is by far the more accurate phrase.
Really, people try to piss you off? Don't give me that bullshit. Really, you're the one that does that to others more than anything, and the most you will ever get from anyone else is a jokingly said "your taste is shit", or a light jab.
And, certainly, it's not entirely your fault, I would not dare suggest that. But that is a very obvious, and very natural influence that you have over them, and act on it without even thinking about it.
And there we go. You have a vision, and anyone who does not adhere to it deserves to be shunned. Don't pretend for a second that you have not had a hand in it, even if it wasn't "active".
You really assume that I actually want you to slit your wrists? God, you're fucking pathetic. Almost always hostile? Now you're just straight up lying. And no, do look once more at >>53727 . You ignored me, very blatantly and with no shame. It was an attempt to start a conversation. You could have continued the discussion, you could have responded with anything. But you didn't, and deliberately made an unrelated post in >>53728 , as if saying "ha fuck off lol i don't want you here". Literally, not only ignoring me, but rubbing my face in it as well. And of course, >>53729 was another deflection, but that's par for the course.
Grow a fucking pair, Fox, and fucking say what you're thinking. You don't want me here. So fucking say it. Fucking ban me. But no, you're a pussy, for one, and you won't ban me for the same reason why Poppy-chan never will, despite wanting me to swallow a bullet. It's PR, nothing more. For you to ban someone would suddenly set a precedent, suddenly everyone would be just that much more paranoid about crossing you. Suddenly you will be, in everyone's eyes, capable of something like that - something that they don't expect of you.
Do it, you faggot.
Or what will it take? Old, "completely unrelated" chat logs?
