Oh really? When I checked on steam, there were a large amount of negative reviews, and almost all of them seemed to be about technical issues.
I also played through Nier, but I did so after I had completed the sequel! There are things I think I would have appreciated more in the correct sequence, but it was still nice to experience them both in such a short time.
