But the good thing about pre-ordering Japanese games is that you can see the reviews before hand.

I usually don't preorder most things. But must of the games I'd buy aren't the ones that are going to be sold out. Special editions are a different story, though.
A nice trend I've been seeing with the switch games is that the JP releases also have english text/audio, I hope it's something that continues.
