Usually when I'm up this late, I'm able to just lay down, and I'm out. It's rare for me to have trouble sleeping, thankfully.
Yes, a large shift in your life like that can be really scary.
I always try to stay in the mindset that staying in the same place and doing the same thing every day really does make every day worse, so I think that a change in pace and scenery can be really nice. Something that large though, is something to really think through carefully. I don't really have concrete advice on either way you should go, but I'm sure you'll make the right decision in the end.
