What are some files out there that you would recommend which do NOT contain erotic elements or themes? If you have these sort of files that you could share, or if you have a link to someone's website which has this sort of stuff, or even if you just have a file name and the tist's name, it would be very much appreciated.

Aside from that:

What are some non-erotic themes which you are interested in or enjoy? / What non-erotic content would you like to see more of?

What are your thoughts on and opinions of your experience with content focused on non-sexual aspects of hypnosis?

Or just anything else which comes to mind when you think about non-erotic hypnosis.

There has got to be over a thousand sites that focus on non-erotic hypnosis. Just google hypnosis self help.

One site that stands out for me is warpmymind's sister site http://www.hypno-files.com/

Well it used to stand out.

Not so much nowadays since there's been practically no new uploads in five years or more.

The basic "vanilla" hypnosis related content has fallen to the wayside, unfortunately, as more and more people explore hypnosis because of the wealth of available info and the Internet. When I was a youth back in the 70s if I went to my public library in my hometown if they had even 2-3 books about hypnosis AT ALL it was a small miracle, and those books were almost always checked out unfortunately.

The severe lack of available info - even a college library in my home area barely had anything of consequence and they had a recognized psychology degree program too - was for the longest time the reason hypnosis "stayed in the shadows" and the myths about it continued to prevail.

Now with the Internet and search engines offering up instant access, along with audio files (I mean really, I miss cassettes in some respects, honestly), I can't say that things are actually better. Sure, I've been practicing and studying hypnosis for several decades of my life (past the half-century mark now) but there are still the basics of hypnosis and trancework that really matter.

In today's instant-gratification society where GIMME GIMME GIMME I WANT IT RIGHT NOW is par for the course it's pretty irritating to deal with some people and their disrespect of hypnosis/trance and just plain old common courtesy. I mean, in short order I can hop onto IRC (Bondage) and go into one of they hypno-related channels there and as soon as it's known that I'm there (I'm a "known entity" in the hypnosis community, primarily online but with some real world connectivity as well) I'll get a horde of slaves/subs/etc begging to be dropped, made to do things, changed, altered, and so on and it's downright sickening to me personally.

And then the inevitable happens: I make it clear that I'm not into "quickies," that working with someone takes time to develop trust and rapport, and of course they'll fire back with "FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE" or something equally ridiculous like it's my fault they can't just play by unspoken rules and be nice about it.

Humans, what sad pathetic creatures we are. Anyway, with respect to non-erotic aka "vanilla" hypnosis, it depends on your goals I suppose. For me, basic trancework is one of those, letting go, the experience, etc. There are a lot of excellent hypnotists out there, and even a few of the Hypnodommes are working professionals to one degree or another and they have some great vanilla works available.

It's all in what you're looking for.

To add to this, what resources (e.g. books, videos, etc.) would you recommend for learning about and reading up on hypnosis in general, or just any topic within or related to hypnosis? For this it's fine if it has sexual stuff I guess, preferably if that isn't the only thing that's talked about though.
